Welcome to my work stress reset meditation.
This short meditation is designed to help you reset,
De-stress,
Refocus and perform through your work day.
Stress is something that all of us suffer from in the workplace.
However,
We can diminish how stress affects us by bringing our awareness to how we're reacting to the world around us.
We each have the unique ability to choose how we show up,
How we respond and how we interact with the world around us,
Especially in the workplace.
This short meditation is going to help you to refocus your attention where it matters.
To begin,
Gently close your eyes if it's comfortable to do so.
Let your shoulders drop,
Let your jaw relax.
Bring your mind to the sensations that's going on inside your body.
And now for our five deep belly breaths.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
With each exhale now,
Feel yourself breathing out any stressful energy within your body.
On each inhale,
Feel calm and peace flood through your body.
Feel your mind starting to unravel from tension.
Feel any tense areas in your body begin to relax and melt down.
Continue breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.
And continue this feeling of breathing in peace and calm and exhaling any stress,
Worry and tension with our outgoing breath.
Now as we move into a state of peace and calm,
Ask yourself the question,
What does this day need from me?
Release the stress,
Release the tension,
Release any chaos and just ask yourself,
What does this day need from me?
Ask yourself,
How can I go forward through the day as the best possible version of myself?
And as we end this meditation now,
I want you to carry the calm,
The peace and the clarity through not just your mind,
But your body through the rest of your working day.
