Ajahn Sucitto

Ajahn Sucitto is a Theravada Buddhist monk. He entered monastic life in 1975 in Thailand, but since 1978 has been based in Britain. He spent fourteen years training under Ajahn Sumedho, the senior Western disciple of Ajahn Chah, and so is part of that lineage of direct practice. His ability with language and metaphor are a delight to the listener. Ajahn's talks build on observation of activity in the room and should be used as a guided meditation, observing one's own mind while listening.

Helpful talk explaining craving on multiple levels. Later in the talk, he also encourages us to let go of clinging as we walk the path and not to use the path as a new excuse to cling to identity, progress, or pleasurable peaceful states.

Good talk, but I wish there was some ambient noise because I had a few times when there was a large gap in the monologue and I thought I might have fallen asleep, so I checked the app.
