Are you frowning?
Have you got tension in your jaw?
Is there tension in your head,
In your temples?
Can you feel a headache coming on?
Let's do this exercise.
Soften out the space in between your eyebrows.
Send the softness all the way across your forehead.
Imagine somebody that you love gently stroking your forehead.
That same softness,
Send it all the way down into your temples.
And as you exhale,
Release any tension that may be lurking in those temples.
Using the exhale to release any tension headaches.
That softness,
Send it all the way down your jawline.
Unclench your jaw.
Add a little tiny gap in between your teeth,
And let your tongue rest gently on the roof of your mouth.
The next exhale,
Drop your shoulders away from your ears.
Now,
Take a deep inhale,
Filling up your belly,
Filling up your lungs all the way to the top.
Exhale,
Exhale,
Exhale.
Let it go.
Notice how you feel.
Slowly,
Gently,
Flutter your eyes open,
And welcome back.
