You want to get yourself back into your body and I'd love you to try this little exercise with me.
Start by rubbing your hands together.
Really rub your hands together,
You want to feel the heat in between your palms.
This is really important,
Like actually what does it feel like?
Feeling your own skin.
As you're doing this of course you're activating the essential oils and so your senses start to tingle,
Everything starts to go.
Bringing yourself into this present moment.
Slow it down,
Bring your hands into a prayer position and bring your prayer up to your fingertips,
Lightly touch a space just in between your eyebrows.
Close your eyes and take a deep inhale and an easy exhale.
Twice more,
Inhale filling up your belly,
Exhale.
Last one,
Inhale filling up your belly,
Filling up your lungs all the way to the top.
Add some pressure on your fingertips,
Connecting in to that space in between your eyebrows,
The space of intuition,
That place of knowing.
Connection to yourself,
Exhale,
Drop your hands down.
Keep your eyes closed and just simply breathe for a moment.
We need to inhale and exhale softly through your nose and start to notice what your breath feels like as it enters your system.
Does it feel warm,
Does it feel cool,
What does your breath feel like as it enters your nostrils?
Really pay attention,
Zoning back in,
Coming back to you,
Knowing that you are safe in your own body.
So as you take a deep inhale,
Filling up your belly,
Filling up your lungs all the way to the top.
Exhale negativity,
Any little chatting voices which aren't really yours,
Exhale,
Exhale,
Exhale.
Inhale filling up your belly,
I am way to the top,
Safe,
Exhale.
Last one,
Inhale filling up your belly,
Filling up your lungs all the way to the top,
I am safe in my own body.
Exhale and just feel the connection back into yourself.
Slowly,
Gently,
When you feel ready,
When you feel that your breath is calmer,
When you feel that you are more relaxed,
When you feel that your shoulders have dropped away from your ears,
Slowly,
Gently,
Flutter your eyes open.
