Rub your hands together.

Rub your hands together fast enough so that you feel the heat.

When you feel that heat,

Know it's your energy.

That energy that is inside yourself all of the time,

Even when you're feeling low,

That energy is there.

Slow it down,

Bring your hands into a prayer position.

Bring your prayer up so that your fingertips lightly touch the space just in between your eyebrows.

Close your eyes and take a deep inhale and an easy exhale.

Twice more,

Inhale filling up your belly,

Exhale.

Last one,

Inhale filling up your belly,

Filling up your lungs,

Adding a bit of pressure on your fingertips,

Starting your connection inwards.

Exhale,

Drop your hands down,

Keep your eyes closed and simply breathe.

Inhaling and exhaling softly through your nose,

Nothing to do,

Nowhere to be.

Take a deep inhale,

Filling up your belly,

Filling up your lungs all the way to the top.

Exhale,

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

To notice what your breath feels like as it enters your system.

Does it feel warm?

Does it feel cool?

Does each nostril feel the same or different?

Are you bunged up anywhere?

What does your breath feel like as it enters your nostrils?

Really get into the detail,

Can you feel the hair on the inside of your nose moving as you inhale?

Once you have the temperature,

Quality of that air that's entering your system,

Start to notice where you feel it in your body.

As soon as you take a deep inhale,

What parts of your body is moving?

Feel it perhaps in your chest?

Do you feel it deep down in your belly?

Do you feel your ribcage expanding?

Do you feel the hairs on the back of your neck standing up?

Energetic breath.

What is being moved as you inhale?

Take a deep inhale,

Filling up your belly,

Filling up your lungs all the way to the top.

Exhale,

Let it go.

Inhale,

Filling up your belly,

Traveling.

Breath traveling through the center of your body,

Filling up your lungs,

Expanding your ribcage,

Circling your heart space.

Exhale,

Let it go.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

There's space just in between your eyebrows.

Soften out that space.

We touched that space at the beginning,

Your space of intuition.

Or perhaps your third eye,

Or perhaps just the place of intuition.

Or perhaps just the place of knowing.

That central point that doesn't allow you to second guess yourself.

Soften out that space.

Send the softness all the way across your forehead,

Over your brows,

Out into your temples.

For the exhale,

Exhale away any tension that might be building up inside your temples,

Those tension headaches.

Use the exhale to breathe them away.

Soft forehead,

Soft temples.

And that softness traveling all the way down the side of your face into your jawline.

Again,

Lots of hidden tension lies in your jaws.

If you unclench your jaw by adding a little tiny gap in between your teeth,

Allow your tongue to rest gently on the roof of your mouth.

Notice that that just eases up that tension along your jaw.

This next exhale,

Drop your shoulders away from your ears,

Allowing a little bit of space and length and vertebrae at the top of your neck.

Take a deep inhale,

Filling up your belly,

Filling up your lungs all the way to the top.

Exhale,

Let it go.

Breathing in,

Taking in everything that you need.

Breathing out,

Getting rid of anything that doesn't serve you for this moment.

Inhale,

Filling up your belly,

Filling up your lungs all the way to the top.

Exhale,

Let it go.

Unclench your jaw again.

Add that little tiny gap in between your teeth.

Let your tongue rest gently on the roof of your mouth.

Exhale,

Your shoulders away from your ears.

Notice the quality of your breath.

Notice the temperature.

And really zone in and get into the minute details about how your breath feels right now,

Right in this second as you inhale.

Where are you feeling it in your body?

What part of your body is moving as you inhale?

Notice,

Zone in,

Go inwards.

Notice your breath.

Notice your breath in this moment right here.

Staying connected,

Tracking your breath through your body.

Inhale,

Filling up your belly.

Breath traveling through the center of your body,

Filling up your lungs,

Expanding your ribcage,

Circling your heart space all the way to the top.

Exhale,

Allow it to gently let go.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Just notice,

Perhaps you feel grounded.

Perhaps your breath feels lower and slower.

Perhaps there's not so much racing.

Racing thoughts,

Racing mind.

Perhaps there's a little more stillness,

A little more calm.

Just notice,

Without judgment,

You're just breathing.

Take the last inhale,

Filling up your belly,

Filling up your lungs all the way to the top.

And this time,

Exhale,

Exhale,

Exhale.

Squeeze out every last tiny little drop of air.

Before you slowly,

Gently,

Flutter your eyes open and welcome the next moment.
