One way to really connect back in is to stop and breathe.
So try this exercise with me.
Rub your hands together.
Rub your hands together fast enough so that you feel the heat.
When you feel that heat,
Know it's your energy.
And that's yours.
That's something that you control.
Slow it down.
Bring your hands into a prayer.
Bring your prayer up to your fingertips.
Lightly touch the space just in between your eyebrows.
Eyes are closed.
And take a deep inhale.
And an easy exhale.
Inhale,
Filling up your belly.
Filling up your lungs.
Exhale.
Last one,
Inhale,
Filling up your belly.
Filling up your lungs all the way to the top.
Exhale,
Drop your hands down.
Keep your eyes closed.
And simply breathe.
So I don't want you to do anything else,
But inhale and exhale softly through your nose.
Don't think about anything else that you've got to do.
You don't have to be anywhere else right now.
You just need to stop and connecting with your breath.
As you take a deep inhale,
Maybe take your left hand and place it over your heart space.
As you feel that breath,
Inhaling,
Filling up your belly,
Traveling up the center of your body and circling underneath the palm of your left hand,
Around your heart space.
Know,
Inhale,
Filling up your belly.
I am.
Way to the top.
As you exhale.
Last one,
Inhale,
Filling up.
As you exhale.
So exhale,
Exhale,
Exhale every last tiny little drop of air.
And then just gently allow your breath to take its own natural rhythm.
Think about that mantra,
I am love.
Love.
And slowly,
Gently,
Flutter your eyes open.
