Let's meditate.

My name is Catherine.

Find a comfortable sitting position.

You can see it with your legs crossed.

You can sit on a chair with your feet grounded on the mat.

You can sit here,

I suppose.

Just find your feet.

Close your eyes.

Focus.

And be still.

Bring your awareness to your breath.

Noticing your inhale and noticing your exhale.

Starting to get present in your meditation.

You start by paying attention to the breath you're taking right now.

So you're fully present to the inhale and to the exhale.

And you stay present,

Just notice the rhythm of your breath.

The pace,

The length,

The temperature.

Notice when you inhale,

Notice the temperature when you exhale.

And now bring your awareness to your physical body.

Notice your connection to the heart and from your sitting bones or legs,

Lift up through your belly to your heart.

Allow yourself to lift through the crown of your head and then soften your shoulders.

Notice any thoughts and feelings that may be present.

Staying present with any thoughts,

Any feelings that may be present.

Imagine that you are the sky,

Always there,

And that the clouds float by coming and going.

Consider that you are the sky,

Always there,

And that the clouds float by coming and going.

Consider that feelings and thoughts are like clouds in the sky.

They come and they go.

You can notice them and allow them.

You can notice them and allow them.

Right now,

Simply notice these thoughts and feelings as if they were floating by like clouds in the sky.

And any time you get lost or you get distracted,

Simply notice the thoughts and feelings as if they were floating by like clouds in the sky.

Now consider what you might do if anything were possible.

Imagine what it might feel like for your possibility to be a reality.

Where would you be?

What do you see?

What are you doing?

Who is there?

Check in with all of your senses,

The sights,

Smells,

Sounds,

And also your feelings.

What do you notice here in your possibility?

Experience your possibility as a felt sense.

Remember that you and your dreams are worth the effort.

Let's take one breath of silence in this space of your possibility.

One.

Two.

Three.

Slowly start to invite yourself back into the room.

Coming back to your breath and together as a community we breathe in and together we breathe out.

Together we breathe in.

Together we breathe out.

And now for the universe we inhale and we exhale.

Reach both hands up with an inhale.

Hands to your heart center.

And let's finish our meditation with one om.

Inhale.
