Hello amazing people,
My name is Bruce Mboghwa from Africa Yoga Project and I'm here to lead you on a short,
Meditation journey.
Let's begin.
Start by finding a comfortable position that you can settle down in.
You can sit cross-legged or even lie on your back.
The key here is to be comfortable.
Now start to bring your attention to your breath,
Observing it in its natural flow.
Do not try to control the breath,
Just simply observe it as it is happening.
Watch every inhale and every exhale.
Observe the length and the strength of each breath without trying to take any control.
Now,
As you observe,
Different noises will begin to present themselves in the moment,
In this moment.
These noises will be in the form of your thoughts and in the form of surrounding noises in your environment.
Watch those two,
Just like you're watching your breath.
You may start to feel uncomfortable or want to change positions.
Whatever resistance or acceptance you're experiencing,
Watch that too.
Ask yourself,
What does it feel like?
In which part of your body do you feel this resistance or acceptance?
Become a neutral observer until you are comfortable with being uncomfortable.
There are no wrong sensations or right sensations.
There is only sensation.
Detach yourself from any desire to control and trust your thoughts,
Sensations and feelings,
Just like you trust yourself to breathe.
Let go.
There's nowhere to be but here.
Let's conclude with three powerful,
Powerful breaths.
Take a deep,
Deep inhale through your nose and a strong release through the mouth.
One more time in through the nose.
A deep exhale through the mouth.
Last time going in through the nose and release through the mouth.
Thank you for being with me and with this practice.
Namaste.
