Namaste my friends,

Welcome.

Today we're going to dive into a really quick brief but refreshing conversation about grief.

Grief for me was a really big initiatory part of my spiritual awakening and I really believe that the spiritual awakening is one of the most worthwhile adventures we will ever take in life.

So to be catapulted and triggered and pushed into it through unexpected grief in hindsight is the highest honor and grief is in some ways the cost of love.

And we are all love and we are always connected to love so when we lose someone in their physical form they return to what love is.

They're never really separate from us,

In fact they're set free and so are we because in grief and in despair and in darkness and suffering there is liberation available and I am a huge advocate of this and of building community in this of coming messy,

Coming ugly,

Coming wherever you are,

Holding grief,

Confusion,

Pain,

Despair,

You're welcome here always.

So let's breathe into it together.

Begin to notice your breath.

If you're holding grief in this moment or anything really any challenging emotion,

Even positive,

Elation,

Joy,

Excited apprehension,

Whatever it is,

Where do you feel it in your body?

Notice and notice yourself breathing as we stay here,

Just gathering awareness about our body,

Where we are in space,

How we're breathing now,

Before we try to change anything.

Just breathe.

Slowly begin to extend your exhales and feel yourself root into whatever is beneath you,

Whether it's your cozy bed,

A cushion on the floor,

A chair at work,

Maybe you're doing this in your car before you go into a job interview or you're simply checking in with yourself after a long day,

Whatever you're going through,

Thank you for being here.

Give yourself some credit and begin to really extend those exhales and become aware of the pause between inhales and exhales,

Rooting down into the earth,

Relaxing.

Let us,

The space around you,

The sound of my voice,

Hold you for this moment or two.

Continue breathing and listen to my voice.

You are doing incredible.

You are navigating the duality of this world with grace.

You are doing better than you think.

Congratulations.

Well done.

I am proud of you.

The present moment is always changing,

Moving,

Shifting,

And so are we,

But in this moment you are still and you see that nothing is being demanded of you.

This is a safe place to come back to when you start to notice challenging emotions,

Chaos in your environment,

Or start to feel unsteady.

You can always come back and bring the emotions,

Bring the grief,

Bring the sadness,

Bring the confusion,

Bring the elation,

Bring the joy,

Bring it all here and say you are welcome to sit with me while I meditate.

And often the things that are beautiful will only grow with your light and the things that are challenging will begin to slip away in the absence of resistance.

This is your surrender my friend.

Breathe into it.

Oftentimes when we're in conflict the resolution is simply in coming back to our bodies,

Our breath,

And letting the present moment do what it does.

Resolve,

Soothe,

Create peace should we sit down and really accept it,

Surrender into it,

And appreciate it.

Thank you for sharing this present moment with me.

I invite you to stay here breathing for as long as you need.

You're doing amazing friend.

Namaste.
