With so much internal noise,
It can feel difficult to calm the mind and access that place between our thoughts.
That space where our inner wisdom has a voice.
Even if it is simply a whisper,
That inner wisdom is where all the answers you may seek reside,
Waiting to be accessed.
If you are seeking answers or simply need a moment of calm,
This meditation offers a gentle visualization followed by a longer period of quiet.
It is intended to help you slow down your thoughts and create the space needed to call upon your higher self to guide you.
Thank you for being here.
My name is Adriana and I will be your meditation guide.
Let's begin.
Be sure you are in a quiet,
Comfortable space,
Either seated or lying down.
Take a moment and settle in.
Close your eyes.
I would like you to start by becoming aware of your breath.
Breathe in deeply and make your exhale twice as long as your inhale.
Continue breathing intentionally for a few moments or until you feel your physical body settling even deeper.
For a moment,
Place your hand on your heart.
Feel it beating gently.
Feel the rise and fall of your belly as you breathe.
With your hand still on your heart,
I'd like you to set an intention for this meditation to be at peace,
To be open,
And to create space to receive whatever is meant for you in this moment.
Returning to a comfortable position and breathing at your normal rhythm,
I would like you to imagine that you are in an open,
Lush,
Green meadow.
This is a peaceful place.
You can hear the wind rustling through the surrounding trees,
The faint echo of birds singing,
The quiet whisper of a trickling stream in the distance.
The sky above you is clear,
With the exception of a few wispy clouds that contrast the brilliant blue sky.
Feel yourself getting comfortable on a blanket in the soft grass.
As you settle in this space,
You can feel the warmth of the sun on your skin ever so slightly,
Bringing you a sense of ease and delight.
A light breeze gently passes over you,
Balancing the warmth of the sun.
You are safe in this place.
You are at peace.
Take a few moments to create this image in your mind.
If visualizing is challenging for you,
Simply tap into how this place would make you feel.
Try not to get caught up in details,
Simply be with the feeling of peace and calm.
As you feel yourself settling into this peaceful place,
I would like you to imagine a beautiful beam of white light shining from the sky and enveloping you.
This light brings you solace and softly draws out the weight you no longer need to hold onto in this moment.
It fills you with love,
With peace.
You begin to feel lighter with each breath.
For the next few moments,
I would like you to stay with your breath as you surrender any worries or questions you may have to the light.
Feel yourself softening as you release these thoughts you are ready to receive.
If you have a specific question,
Simply ask the question silently,
Let it go and be still.
Release any attachments to an outcome or an answer and trust what you receive.
Don't force it or rush it,
Be patient,
Be still.
Remember,
All you seek is within you.
Stay with your breath and the beautiful light until you hear my voice once again.
Still feeling embraced by this loving light,
Take one more moment to ask any final questions or surrender any thoughts that may have surfaced during this session.
Now gently,
Take a long,
Slow,
Deep cleansing breath and release it.
Feel as if a weight is being lifted from you.
Take another long,
Slow,
Deep cleansing breath and release.
Sit with this peace you have created within you for just a few moments.
Begin to become aware of your physical body.
Wiggle your fingers,
Your toes.
Feel the soft beat of your heart and the rise and fall of your chest with each breath.
Placing your hand on your heart one more time,
Set the intention to bring this peace with you into your day.
When you feel ready,
You may open your eyes.
You may want to take a moment to write in a journal or simply remain in stillness to process what may have come up during this meditation.
I hope you found this helpful.
Thank you for creating space with me.
Namaste.
