Challenging situations are inevitable in life.
It is how we grow.
Our approach to these challenges is what makes all the difference.
While we are here in form,
It is easy to forget our formless eternal life.
This is especially true when we are facing difficult circumstances.
However,
When we can tap into our light,
That part of us where only love resides,
We can move forward with strength.
When we come from a place of love and compassion for ourselves and others,
We can shift our perspective and proceed with grace.
Whatever your challenge may be,
Just remember you have the wisdom and courage you need to overcome it.
This meditation will help you pause and call upon that wisdom through stillness.
When we are still,
We can access that part of us that knows exactly what we need in any situation.
Welcome,
I am Adriene and I will be your meditation guide.
Begin by finding a comfortable position.
Close your eyes and settle in.
Now take a long,
Mindful,
Deep breath in.
Hold it for a moment at the top and feel your belly rise.
Now release it.
Take a moment to scan your body for any part of you that feels tense.
Breathe into these areas with the intention of relaxing even deeper.
Now I would like you to take a deep cleansing breath.
Inhaling to the count of four,
Hold this breath at the top for a moment.
Then exhale through your mouth as if you're blowing a kiss.
Do this for three to four breaths at your own pace or until you feel your body settling even deeper.
Returning your breath to your natural rhythm,
Simply become aware of each breath.
Every inhale,
Breathe in a feeling of calm.
And on each exhale,
You continue to release more and more tension you may unknowingly be holding on to.
Now,
Observe your body once again.
Remember to be gentle with yourself.
If you still feel any tension,
Simply continue breathing into those areas.
Feel yourself melting into the surface that holds you.
You are safe.
You are calm.
By now,
Your thoughts have slowed down.
Take this time to plant a seed in your subconscious.
Simply say silently,
I open to the wisdom within that knows what to do.
Take a few moments to repeat this silently.

With your intention planted,
I'd like you to imagine yourself in an open meadow.
It is peaceful here.
You are comfortable.
The colors are vibrant.
The green grass and the surrounding trees contrast with the bright blue sky.
You can feel the rays of the sun warming your entire body.
You can hear the wind rustling the leaves of nearby trees.
If you find yourself getting caught up in the details,
Or if visualizing is challenging for you,
Simply tap into the feelings you would have if you were there.
Feel the familiar sensation of sunshine embracing you.
A soft breeze brushing gently over your skin.
The sounds of birds softly singing.
You are safe,
Held in this space.
Take some time to feel into this image in your mind.
Now in this peacefully safe space you've created in your mind,
And with an openness to receive,
Take some time to simply ask for guidance.
Silently say,
I am open to receive whatever it is I need to hear in this moment.
If you have a specific question,
Feel free to ask.
Think of this as opening a dialogue between you and your higher self,
That part of you that is pure love and wisdom.
Still held by this peaceful place,
Take a few more moments to receive any insights that you may need to hear.
Now I would like you to turn your attention to your heart center.
This is the chakra of love.
Imagine a glowing emerald light in the center of your chest.
With each breath,
This light grows even brighter.
You can feel its warmth.
Now bring to mind anything you are truly grateful for,
Anything that brings you a sense of love,
Of peace,
Of joy.
Visualize the emerald green light intensifying with your feelings of gratitude.
The light grows,
Feel it filling you,
Surrounding you,
As if you are one with its glowing presence.
Your heart holds so much love.
Feel this love embracing you.
The love you feel is your truth.
It is always here for you.
It lights your way when things seem dark.
It lifts you up when life feels heavy.
Simply breathe with this beautiful light that you are for a few moments,
Surrendering your burdens and opening to pure love and light.
With a renewed sense of love and a lightness of being,
It is time to carry your stillness into the world.
When you feel ready,
Deepen your breath and release it.
Begin to become aware of the space that has held you during this meditation.
Feel your body on the surface that has supported you.
Gently add light movement,
Wiggling your fingers,
Your toes.
Set one last intention before returning to your day.
Set the intention to bring your love into the world and shine your light.
When you feel a challenge arise,
Take a deep breath,
Feel your heart expand and know that all you seek is within you.
When you are ready,
You may open your eyes.
