Transcript

Welcome to a dash of meditation.

If you're working through a complex problem or feel stuck at the edge of something new,

This five-minute practice is here to help you reconnect with creativity and clarity.

Whether you're an engineer,

A designer,

Or a problem solver of any kind,

Innovation starts from space.

Let's create that space together.

Begin by taking a comfortable seat.

Close your eyes if that feels good,

Or simply lower your gaze.

Let your hands rest softly.

Start by taking a long,

Steady breath in through your nose,

And a full exhale through your mouth.

Again,

Inhaling,

Expanding your chest and your lungs,

And exhaling.

Soften your shoulders,

Your jaw,

And your grip.

Allow your breath to return to a steady rhythm.

No need to force it,

Just let it flow.

Now,

Bring your awareness to your mind.

You might be carrying questions,

Tension,

Pressure to figure it out.

Let all of that soften for just a few moments.

You don't have to solve anything right now.

You're making room for what wants to emerge.

Breathe in clarity,

Breathe out mental noise.

Let's bring in a quiet phrase to guide this space.

I create space,

I welcome insight.

Inhale,

I create space,

Exhale,

I welcome insight.

Let that be your mantra.

You don't need to chase the answer.

Remember,

You're creating the conditions where the answer can find you.

Feel your forehead soften.

Feel heavier in your seat.

Let the inner critic take a break.

You are open to curiosity,

The unknown,

And sitting at the edge of discovery.

Now,

Invite in your challenge just lightly.

Hold it like a question mark,

Not something to conquer,

But something to explore.

You may see it differently now.

You may not.

That's okay.

You've planted something.

Breathe in openness,

Breathe out expectation.

You've taken a moment not to force,

But to allow.

This is how innovation breathes.

When you return to your work,

Bring this space with you.

Let your ideas flow from it.

Until next time,

Keep creating and trust the quiet between breakthroughs.
