For this morning meditation,
Please find a comfortable position.
You may choose to stay lying down if that's how you started the day.
Otherwise,
If it's supportive for you,
Slowly gather yourself into a seated position and allow the hips to gravitate,
Allow the shoulders to soften,
And then smooth out the face.
We start with this centering thought.
This day is full of unbound potential and unknown possibilities.
This day is full of unbound potential and unknown possibilities.
And as you open toward the potential and possibilities of the day,
Allow an openness to ripple through the chest space,
Expanding a little bit brighter through the heart center as you meet this new day.
And commit here to leading with this space for the rest of the day ahead,
Allowing your heart to guide you and allowing yourself to tune in and listen to your heart as you move through this day.
I invite you now to acknowledge your breath.
Notice what's here as you witness and observe the breath that is present.
And in the next few moments,
Are you able to expand and deepen the breath just a little bit more,
Smoothing out any edginess that is present,
Letting softness take shape in the breath space.
And the next time that you breathe,
Imagine that the breath were going directly to your heart and expanding it with each inhale.
And with each exhale,
Imagine it were just growing warmer,
More susceptible to life itself.
And when we connect to this idea of leading with our heart,
It's not a matter of disconnecting the mind space and just loving on everything.
It's a matter of tuning in and with discernment,
Seeing what's true for you and your heart.
There will be some mind movements as you progress through your meditation and through the day,
But can you actively move into the heart space?
Can you allow the heart space to infuse the mind with the lens of compassion?
So begin by witnessing yourself here and now through the lens of compassion,
Looking upon yourself with only love for showing up for you today,
For carving out time and space to sit and connect to your deeper sense of self.
From here,
We're going to start a bit of rhythmical breathing,
Counting up to five with the inhale and down from five with the exhale.
So it might sound a little bit like this internally.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Continue to explore this breathing pattern,
Allowing your awareness to still sit in the heart space.
The inhale expands,
The exhale warms.
This is your exploration for the next few extended moments.
So find your groove,
Keeping it smooth and steady.
Make the rhythm work for you.
Beautifully done.
Just a few more rounds of in for five and out for five.
And as you connect to your breath this morning,
Connect to the gratitude you may have for this breath,
Our life giver.
It's what sustains us.
It's what allows us to remain.

I'd like you to imagine someone that you absolutely adore.
It could be a few people that come into mind and wish this for them today.
May you open to the potential of you and your life.
May you be open to the possibilities that are opening to you.

And imagine these people or this person,
Wherever they are,
They receive your loving kindness message and it drops into their heart space,
Infusing their day with a little bit more warmth and connection.
And then allow their image to dissolve.
Come back to the felt experience of your own heart space.
Breathing here.
And just as easily as you wish that for this person or people,
Can you wish that for yourself today too?
Whispering this statement in your heart space.
May I open to the potential of the day for me and my life.
May I move and open to possibilities that are opening toward me.
May I live boldly and brightly today.
Starting to deepen the breath here and now once again.
Letting all of that drop into your mind,
Body,
Heart space now.
And over the next few moments of meditation,
Just let it alchemise.
Sit and let it drop in.
You can place your awareness wherever you need to let this alchemise.
When you're ready,
Starting to feel the body once again.
Noticing any sounds in your space.
And in your own time,
Starting to blink the eyes open.
Return to your space and move forward with that beautiful openness here in the heart space as the day moves on by.
