You're doing all the inner work.
You're journaling,
Visualizing,
Meditating,
But the same patterns keep showing up.
The truth is you're not doing anything wrong.
You're just running into the same hidden blocks that keeps everyone stuck to their old identity.
That they're looking to outgrow.
Hey there friend,
My name is Anthony and thanks for hitting play today.
I want to share with you this insight that I keep coming across over and over in my own life.
That real change doesn't come from trying harder,
Doesn't come from more effort.
It comes from alignment.
It comes from resonating with the state of being of what we're looking to call into our life.
What we typically do is unknowingly sabotage that alignment by doing all the right things.
Taking action,
Doing all the right practices,
Doing all that stuff from the wrong identity.
From the old state of being.
You see,
When we typically start a new goal,
The first question is that we ask is,
How do I get what I want?
Instead of really asking who do I need to become,
What type of person do I need to step into?
It's like our meditation practice,
Our spiritual practice.
We start our practice sometimes asking what am I going to get out of this?
How am I going to feel a certain way?
Instead of saying how can I just be during this practice?
How can I resonate with someone who's already whole?
Who's already at peace?
Who's already worthy?
Someone who's just being instead of striving.
So really the question is,
Who do I need to become for this to feel natural and easy?
Because when we're obsessed with the outcome,
When we are so focused on the end result,
All we're doing is reinforcing the identity of not having it.
We're binding ourselves to that state of being of lack.
You end up chasing results instead of resonating with them.
Instead of resonating with that state of being that already has that result,
That already has that experience in their life.
Instead of asking how,
You start asking who.
Take your goals,
Take what you're working towards,
And instead of mapping it out as some long journey of going from A to B,
Ask who do I need to grow into?
Who am I already that will serve me on this path?
Who am I being when this feels easy and natural?
Spend a few minutes with that question,
And let it be that North Star.
Let it guide your days.
Who am I being when this feels natural and easy?
Now I know you might be thinking,
I understand overly focusing on the outcome creates resistance.
Yeah,
I get that.
You know,
We're all on the spiritual path,
And that's one of the first things we learn,
Is that focusing on the results and being obsessed with the outcomes we want in life creates an attachment.
And with attachments come resistance and suffering.
And maybe you know that there's a part of you that needs to shift in order to go where you want to go.
You get all that,
But you still feel stuck.
And it's usually because our nervous system rejects any change we're trying to make.
Growth and transformation triggers uncertainty.
And your nervous system interprets that as danger.
It wants to pull you back.
It wants to make sure you're safe.
But the problem is you can't embody your future self.
You can't focus on who you need to become if your body feels unsafe,
If you're in survival mode.
So what happens there is that we begin to unconsciously sabotage anything that feels unsafe,
Anything that makes us uncomfortable,
Even if it's something we deeply desire.
So we have to work on making our nervous system feel safe to change.
We have to make it feel safe to be seen to step into the unfamiliar.
So what you might consider doing is when you do your meditation in the morning and you go into a relaxed state is to just whisper to yourself that it is safe for you to be seen.
It is safe for you to be successful.
It is safe for you to be abundant.
I am safe to expand.
I am safe to receive.
And anchor those words in with your breath.
Breathe in.
I am safe to expand.
Breathe in.
I am safe to receive.
Breathe in.
I am safe to become the person I know I'm capable of becoming.
So I really challenge you to take this as a call to get your nervous system on board and really show it that you are safe,
That you are safe to go into the unfamiliar,
That you are safe to have new experiences because we have to get the change into our bodies.
And this segues nicely to the third thing I wanted to mention,
Which is another big block that comes up.
Lacking a daily embodiment practice.
So what I mean by that is that you can't think your way into a new life,
Into a new state of being.
You can't change through mindset alone.
You have to become it.
You have to practice it daily.
And the world we live in right now makes that hard because information is so widely available to us.
Between the internet,
Social media,
Now with AI,
We can learn anything we want.
We can get knowledge at our fingertips in milliseconds.
But we can't stop at knowledge.
We can't stop at merely understanding,
At just digesting wisdom.
We have to embody the wisdom we're taking in.
Manifestation or any type of transformation really comes down to repetition and emotion.
Repeatedly practicing a new state of being every single day.
So we need not just wisdom and think about change.
We don't need just theory.
We need an actual ritual that connects the mind,
The body,
And emotion every day.
You can think of it like if you were learning a new instrument.
I can tell you intellectually that if you want to play guitar,
You have to,
With one hand,
Strum the strings.
And on the other hand,
You have to hold down the strings on the fretboard in unison together and it'll make music.
I could tell you about chords and scales and notes,
But that's probably not going to do much for you.
You actually have to pick up the guitar and practice and get your body moving.
It has to get into your physiology.
And that's the same thing with our spiritual growth.
Same thing with manifestation.
You need a daily practice that brings everything together,
That brings together the wisdom,
The insights,
That brings together the theory into your body,
Into your state of being every day.
So I invite you to consider each morning starting with a simple practice,
Just for a few minutes,
Of being your future self.
Exploring what that's like.
What is the most ideal version of yourself?
Feel it.
How would that person walk?
How would that person speak?
What would they say to themselves?
What would their attitude be?
How would they show up every day?
How would they feel inside their bodies?
And anchor it in with your breath.
Because again,
This could become very theoretical.
You can start thinking all these thoughts of how your future self would feel and how they would show up,
But you want to go from thinking to the feeling sensations in your body.
So as you have these thoughts in the beginning,
Daydreaming about how your future self will show up in life and how it will feel,
Breathe into those thoughts.
Let it become somatic.
Let it become in your body.
Little by little,
You'll start to create the foundation for that person,
For that future self you're looking to step into.
So I hope this can help you reframe if you're feeling stuck.
That perhaps maybe you feel stuck because you've been trying to transform.
You've been trying to make changes in your life from the same identity you're trying to outgrow.
So this week,
I invite you to notice which one of these three blocks shows up most often for you.
Are you overly focused on the outcome?
Are you obsessed with the results of your goals?
You have a fear of change.
Does your nervous system still pull you back?
Or is your practice very intellectual,
Very mindset driven?
And is there some room to add more embodiment into your path,
Into your daily routine?
And then just commit to shifting one of those.
So I hope this helps you.
