This morning meditation guides you through mindfulness, unconditional love, gratitude, and intention-setting. In just a few minutes a day, you can center yourself, uplift your energy, and color your whole day with positivity and purpose. In simplicity, there is immense power—and this daily practice is a testament to that power — one that can create transformative shifts in your overall well-being and how you experience life. The commitment might be tiny, but the potential for positive change is vast. When we make self-care a conscious choice, we start each day by aligning with the truth of who we really are.

Hey there,

Friend.

Thank you for hitting play this morning.

I'm so deeply honored and grateful to share a piece of your day with you.

Cultivating well-being doesn't need to be complicated.

Neither does cultivating a deepening,

Rewarding morning practice.

So in this meditation,

I'm going to share with you a simple morning practice that can help you unlock many of the wonderful benefits a consistent meditation practice promises to help you enter your day with energy,

Joy,

Clarity,

And purpose.

Best of all,

The commitment is small.

All it takes is dedicating a few minutes each morning.

See this as your time dedicated just for you to slow down and center yourself before the hustle of life begins.

You can do this practice either sitting or while still lying in bed,

Allowing yourself to just be comfortable and free of any distraction.

Remember,

This time is for you.

So as we begin,

Take note of what you most need today and hold that intention gently as you go through this practice.

So let's start by taking a deep,

Mindful breath by inhaling for 4 seconds and exhaling for 6 seconds.

4 seconds in and 6 seconds out.

Take this at your own pace and time and just repeat this cycle a few times as you allow yourself to just slow down.

If it feels good,

You can place your hand on your abdomen and gently observe the rhythm of your breath.

Gently see if you can feel the sensations of the air coming in and out of your body.

See if you can connect with this essence of life flowing within you and just pay attention to it.

Now turn your focus to someone who represents unconditional love in your life.

It can be your child,

Your partner,

A friend,

A mentor,

A pet,

Or any being who ignites unconditional love when you think of them.

Call upon them.

Call upon this warming,

Soothing energy from that unconditional bond and as you do,

Just notice the sensations it produces in your body.

If you find yourself thinking too much about how this is supposed to feel,

Just give yourself some grace and let go and just focus on the energy.

The energy you feel when holding this person in your mind and in your heart.

Maybe call to mind a particular memory that symbolizes this love and the bond you share and just be with it.

Ground yourself in the positive energy that is generated from the genuine affection you have for this being and let the love just flow.

Let the love bubble up.

Now let's shift our attention to gratitude.

Feel genuine appreciation for literally anything in your life,

Your family,

Your work.

That splendid cup of coffee waiting for you in the kitchen later this morning.

Whatever comes to mind,

Bask in the goodness for what you have in your life.

You can also take a moment to admire qualities within yourself that you value.

What are the best parts of your personality that you appreciate and love?

What are the little things in life that you treasure?

Remember,

It's the simplest things that always deliver our deepest needs.

Let's linger in this space of appreciation,

Of gratitude,

And allow it to be the mindset that colors your entire day.

Finally,

Let's turn to the day ahead.

What are your intentions for today?

What matters most to you?

Remember our intention we set in the beginning?

Connect with this intention.

What do you need most today?

Hold this intention with love and begin visualizing your day unfolding beautifully,

Magically,

And harmoniously.

Imagine positive outcomes,

Positive interactions.

See the ideal version of yourself.

How do you want to show up today?

How do you want to feel in the various segments of your day?

Have some fun with this and be a little playful.

See your day like you are creating a movie in your mind.

Envision the moments,

Feel the emotions you want to experience,

And set the stage for a day that aligns with not only your goals and aspirations,

But with the truth of who you really are.

So as we conclude this morning practice friends,

I want to thank you for inviting me into your morning today,

And more importantly for taking the time today,

Not only for yourself,

For others,

The people in your life,

But for our entire world.

So that you can show up as your most conscious,

Most present,

And best version of yourself.

As you integrate this practice into your daily life,

Allow it to become more than just another habit or another routine.

Let it be a conscious choice,

A moment of self-care,

And a daily affirmation that your well-being is a journey worth prioritizing.
