Welcome,
If everything feels distant right now,
Heavy,
Flat,
Foggy,
This may be a freeze or shutdown response.
Sometimes when stress feels overwhelming,
The nervous system protects by dimming energy.
This is not weakness,
It's protection.
And we're going to gently invite a little safe activation back into the body.
Take a slightly deeper inhale,
And let it go slowly.
Again,
Inhale,
Just 5% fuller than usual.
Exhale naturally.
One more time.
Now gently wiggle your fingers.
Very small movement.
Notice sensation in your hands.
Now roll your shoulders once,
Slowly.
And again.
Bring awareness to sound.
What can you hear?
Just notice.
Press your palms together lightly.
Hold for 5 seconds.
1,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Release.
Again,
Press.
1,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Release.
Notice if anything feels slightly more awake.
Not energized,
Just present.
Now inhale for 4,
2,
3,
4.
Exhale for 5,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Repeat this on your own.
Let your breath be steady,
Not forced,
Just consistent.
Lift your gaze slightly.
Look around the room.
Notice three shapes or colors.
This tells the system,
I am here.
I am present.
Even small aliveness is enough.
Feel your feet.
Feel your seat.
Feel your breath.
Stay here quietly.
You don't need big energy.
You don't need to feel motivated.
Just a small return to presence is enough.
And that is already happening.
