We are in the most beautiful lake in Alberta.
So we are going to share those vibrations with you today.
So let's start with a short ceremony as we usually do.
Let's sit comfortably.
Let's take a deep breath in.
And let go.
Let's close our eyes.
Take another deep breath in.
And let go.
And the next breath in we keep in without breathing out.
And slowly breathe out and engage.
Let go of everything that's in front of you.
Let go of everything that is not of use for you right now.
Let go of all the things that already happened in the past.
Let go of things that may happen in the future.
Allow your breath to guide you back to the present moment.
To whatever is happening right now.
Around you.
Come aware of all the movements.
Things that start and end.
Voices.
The wind.
Whatever is happening around you.
Accept the reality as it manifests all around you right now.
Become aware of your own body as it is sitting here.
All the movements within.
Sensations.
Thoughts and emotions.
That appear and disappear.
Become aware of your presence within that movement.
The still presence that observes it all.
Reunite with the essence of the ultimate observer.
That was never born and will never die.
Become aware of the silence within.
Become aware of the presence of all the beings that are currently taking part of this circle.
This virtual circle.
Embrace them.
Accept.
Into your hearts.
Let us unite our individual intentions into one unified intention.
The intention to grow.
To develop.
To evolve.
And with a smile let's take another deep breath in.
And when we feel comfortable.
You may open your eyes.
Hello everyone.
Hello everyone.
Welcome again to this opportunity.
We give ourselves to hold hands and walk the path together.
To support each other's growth.
So just sharing our location.
We are just sitting on the footsteps of an old indigenous shelter.
As you can see.
In the woods.
So I'm sorry if the audio is a bit low.
Gathered here today to discuss a pandemic that infects so many of us.
Stops us from fulfilling our,
We call it depression.
So I'm going to say a few words about that and then leave the stage for your questions.
So the vast majority of this meeting will be dedicated to refer to your questions.
So that's the opportunity for you to contribute to this meeting today.
Don't censorize yourself.
Be honest.
And truthful.
That's the only way to grow.
So depression.
What is depression?
Depression in a sentence is a sadness that won't let go.
It's a sadness that stays.
And why does it stay?
Why won't it pass like any other phenomenon that we experience?
Because like any other phenomena,
If we resist it,
It persists.
This is what we need to know.
That's the most important thing.
If we resist it,
It persists.
If we don't allow ourselves to be sad fully.
It persists.
To be sad fully.
It persists,
It stays,
It won't go away.
And then we call it depression.
How does it affect our lives?
The first phenomena on the physical level is low prana,
Low energy.
Depression eats prana.
And again,
This is not unique to sadness.
Any sensation,
Any emotion,
Any thought that we resist persists.
And the fact that we resist it consumes prana.
The resistance itself consumes prana.
So we feel low in energy.
We feel we lack motivation.
Motivation.
We feel that we lack enthusiasm.
We are lethargic.
We are apathetic.
We don't have the motivation to go out,
To meet the world.
To face life,
To deal with our issues.
We just want to lay in bed and not do anything and not meet anyone.
Right?
We call it depression.
All the side effects of depression are an outcome of that energy lost.
Because we resist.
Without prana the body cannot function.
Without prana our emotions and our total state of being is compromised.
Do you see that?
Depression is just another expression of me avoiding.
Of me rejecting.
Of me running away.
Of me saying no,
No,
No,
No.
This is not acceptable.
This is unbearable.
This is too much for me.
I can't deal with it.
So what do I do?
I reject.
I hide away.
I run away.
That state of me rejecting is what consumes energy.
And without prana the inevitable expression is what we call depression.
That's just a quick summary.
Or you call it an introduction.
So,
The stage is open for your questions.
What would you like to know?
What would you like to clarify?
To resolve?
With things that have to do with depression.
Ignore the sound.
See if you can focus on your questions.
AJ says it robs energy from the soul and focuses it on the body.
It robs energy from the soul.
Who is depressed?
AJ is asking.
The mind?
Question mark.
Yeah,
This is something for you to figure out.
Who is depressed?
I tell you,
The soul cannot be depressed.
I mean,
Of course,
We need to define what a soul is.
But a soul,
As I see that,
Cannot be depressed.
The soul is happy to experience anything.
Pleasant or unpleasant.
If the body is full of energy,
The soul is happy to experience that.
If the body is low in energy,
The soul is happy to experience that.
What steals energy is not the soul.
What steals energy is the complex of ego,
Intellect,
Persona,
That tries to figure out what is best for me.
For me.
What is most convenient for me.
What is most safe for me.
Right?
It has an agenda.
When meeting life,
It has an agenda.
It's not neutral in that sense.
And as long as I have an agenda,
Of course,
I'm preoccupied.
I'm not truly available to experience whatever is happening.
The persona.
I would name it the persona that identifies itself with its state of being.
When will I be happy?
When I feel better,
Physically,
Emotionally,
Mentally,
Then I will be happy.
Or when my reality is changed and is more convenient,
More comfortable,
More safe,
Whatever condition I have about life,
About my life.
Do you see that?
Then I will be happy.
When that is the state of being,
There is no freedom there.
You are completely cooked by changing circumstances.
No?
The challenge here is to shift your focus from the persona to what we call the soul.
From the changing phenomena and the identity that follows it,
That is dependent on the changing phenomena,
The realm of phenomena.
Like we very quickly did in the beginning of this session,
Shifting your awareness from the realm of phenomena to the observer that meets them.
From whatever is starting,
Experienced and ending to the ultimate observer that doesn't start and doesn't end,
That is not truly affected by changing events.
Once you are rested in that position,
You are not threatened anymore by changing moods,
By rise and fall of prana,
Whatever.
And once you are in that position,
Naturally you stop resisting reality,
You stop resisting the realm of phenomena because you are not threatened by it anymore.
And if you stop resisting the realm of phenomena,
Then there is no energy lost.
And if there is no energy lost,
The prana is naturally high,
Stable,
And you are much more available,
Accessible for life.
And of course,
The chances that you will find yourself depressed again grow dim and dim.
Do you see that?
I'm sure there are many questions.
Any question that has nothing to do with the audio level?
So,
I think people probably can't hear my voice,
But Marci is asking,
What do we do to get our mojo or prana back,
Which you kind of addressed.
No,
Look,
This is very important.
But you have to repeat the question.
What to do,
I'm repeating,
What to do to get the mojo back,
Right?
To get back our energy.
It's a very good question.
So,
What to do?
First of all,
The attitude has to be there.
What is the attitude?
Stop blaming life for your misery.
Okay?
You are not depressed because whatever is happening.
It doesn't matter how sad it is.
You are not depressed because of what is happening.
You need to take back that responsibility.
Take back that responsibility.
Realize that your prana is not low because of what is happening.
It's low because you keep resisting what is happening.
Believing it should be different.
Believing it should have been something else.
Take back that responsibility.
Fundamentally,
Realize that to be the truth.
Not just because,
You know,
Yaron is saying so.
Wake up to that realization.
Oy!
I am resisting.
I believe it should have been differently.
I believe that I will be happy when events will change.
Okay,
No,
No.
Now I realize.
It's me holding on to that belief.
And while my consciousness is split in that way,
Experiencing one thing but believing I should be experiencing something else,
Prana is lost.
So,
The first thing is to come back to that realization.
So,
The first thing is to come back to that realization,
To that awakening.
Oh,
Yeah,
This is me.
This has always been me.
And then,
Forgive yourself.
It's also very important.
Forgive yourself.
If you are now realizing that but turn it into self-blame.
Oh,
Shit.
I should have known better.
I should have.
.
.
After all these years on the spiritual path,
I should have remembered.
No,
No,
No.
Don't worry about that.
Forgive yourself.
You are doing the best you can.
So,
Wake up.
Add compassion.
And then,
How to rise the prana?
You'll see,
Automatically,
Once you take back that responsibility,
You feel empowered,
Right?
What is responsibility?
The ability to respond.
To response,
Right?
The ability is rekindled once you agree to take back that responsibility.
You regain the ability to respond.
And you do whatever you need to do from that new reclaimed position.
You do whatever you need to do to wake yourself up.
Like what?
You eat the right food.
You drink the right drinks.
Especially,
Like I can give general instructions,
Avoid too much caffeine,
Too much sugar.
People try to raise their level of prana by drinking sugar or caffeine-filled drinks.
That's not sustainable.
Because as soon as the caffeine is in,
The prana is up,
And as soon as the caffeine effect is dead,
The prana is down again.
Or sugar,
Or whatever it is.
So,
You want to bring up the prana in a natural way,
Sustainable way.
So,
Drink a lot,
But not sugarized or filled with caffeine drinks.
And eat light food.
Light food,
Not too heavy,
Not overcooked,
Not too much meat.
You know,
Fresh,
Organic.
You know,
Right?
What you need to eat in order for your prana to stay high.
How do you feel after a big meal of steak and potatoes and a glass of wine and a chocolate cake?
It's good,
But after that,
You know,
You need to rest.
Prana is very low.
All the prana is in the stomach trying to digest the food.
So,
If you eat small,
Light meals with fresh food,
You'll see the prana stays high.
And then you put yourself into a regime.
If you feel low and you feel that you don't have any motivation to step out of bed,
It doesn't matter.
What you do?
You step out of bed at 8 o'clock.
Why?
Because this is your regime.
And then you do your breathing,
Your sadhana.
No.
Your meditation.
Not because you feel like it,
But because that's your regime.
That's it.
You take responsibility.
Like a soldier.
You have decided.
You are confronting that.
That's your task.
What is your task?
To bring up the level of prana in your body,
In your system.
So,
Breathing,
Yoga,
Meditation,
Letting go of stress,
Eating right,
Going to sleep enough,
But not too much.
Six,
Seven hours,
Whatever your body needs,
But not more.
You already know.
And each body,
Energetic,
Physical body,
Has different needs.
Some people need to sleep more,
Some people need to sleep less.
You know your body.
So,
And you know what's good for it.
Right?
You do know it.
You know that your body doesn't need too much sweet,
But you go there anyway,
Because it's what we call comfort food,
Right?
A bit better for a short while.
So,
Don't.
Why?
Because that's your regime.
And very important,
Like Tony is saying,
Find people that can support you on your path.
We call it satsang,
The divine crowd.
Find people that can hold your hand,
Give you a hug,
Remind you what is most important to you again and again and again.
Surround yourself with divine community.
And if it doesn't exist,
Create one.
Create a divine community for you.
Yeah,
Let's do it.
Yeah,
Like we do here now.
This is our satsang.
Even if it's only you know,
Digital.
How do you call it?
In your neighborhood,
Find people.
I'm sure you can.
Go to a yoga center,
You know,
Near you.
Surround yourself with people that can help you remember again and again.
Give you a hug,
Remind you you are not alone on the path.
It's very important.
One of the reasons for this depression to be a pandemic,
Especially in the Western world,
Especially in North America,
Is the fact that people feel alone.
People are too much by themselves,
For themselves.
The sense of community was lost somehow in the Western world.
And that's something you can fix for yourself.
At least start there.
And now you think,
No,
No,
This is way too much.
I can't do it.
I can't make it.
It's don't believe those thoughts.
You create your own reality.
You create your own reality.
And if what you now know you want is a community of people,
Like-minded people,
That can support your path,
That you can share your love with,
That can walk the path together with you,
Then create one.
Create one.
Physically go,
Make sure there are five,
Ten people around you that you can meet a couple of times a week and grow together.
It's truly essential.
One of the four pillars that we discussed previously,
Remember?
That's truly important.
What else?
Okay.
Hold on.
I don't know if anybody can hear me,
But I I'm hung up on the reduce stress piece.
So how does reducing stress kind of fall in line with if if this is our most,
If we make this the most important thing in our lives,
How does that fit in with reducing stress?
Can you talk a little bit more about reducing stress?
What does that mean or look like?
What does it mean reducing stress and how does this affect depression?
We have to differentiate between stressful situation and stress as a state of being.
Stressful situation,
Intense situations,
Challenging,
Demanding situations,
They happen.
Yes,
It's a part of life.
Life is not always easy and comfortable.
You know that,
Right?
But stress as a state of being is something else.
Stress,
As we define it here on the white path,
Is me rejecting,
Me avoiding,
Me opposing,
Not willing to accept situations as they are.
Believing that only when they change to be more similar to the idea that I have in my head,
Only then I can be happy,
Fulfilled enlightened,
Whatever.
This is stress.
How to reduce stress?
So this is,
You see,
By definition,
It's the same explanation of depression,
Right?
Because it's still me rejecting,
Me avoiding.
OK?
A simple task can become stressful and consume my prana.
If I believe it shouldn't have happened.
I wash the dishes but I believe somebody else should have washed the dishes.
It wasn't my turn.
I'm not supposed to do that now,
Right?
That consumes prana.
That attitude consumes prana.
So if you take back responsibility,
Remind yourself again and again,
No,
No,
No,
No,
No,
No,
I stop arguing.
I stop complaining.
I stop surrendering to conflicting ideas that I have about what should have happened.
You see,
Naturally you gain back that responsibility and you don't lose prana anymore.
That prana that was consumed by this gap within you by that split consciousness is now available to help you rejoice life instead of victimize yourself to it.
You see?
What else?
So back a while ago,
Howard said so that that is the series of books they were writing for the family and now I am the new volume going on the series for myself and for the future.
Questions.
It's also chemical in addition to terrible pain,
Grief and other factors.
Oh,
Stop,
Stop,
Stop,
Stop,
Stop,
Stop.
For me.
It's also chemical in addition to terrible pain,
Grief and other factors.
OK.
Pain is not a problem.
When will I be happy when the pain disappears?
When I feel comfortable again.
When I feel like I used to feel 20 years ago and I was full of energy and.
Oh.
And then life disappointed me and didn't give me.
All the things I believe I deserved.
Life was full of promise and now I'm disappointed.
A victim of circumstances.
Do you see what you tell yourself?
Do you see how harmful this story is?
And this is your story.
Nobody else's story.
You chose to believe it.
You created it and you identified with it.
And it becomes who you are.
Who am I?
I'm a victim of circumstances.
I used to be strong and beautiful and young and full of life and now look at me.
I'm a victim of my own body.
I'm a victim of time.
You need to recalibrate your story that you tell yourself that you identify with.
See everything in life is a derivative of that.
The story that you tell yourself about yourself about life.
If you truly sincere in your quest to be free to be awakened I assume you are otherwise why be here now with us?
Let's assume for the sake of the argument that we all are.
Then you need to seriously reconsider the story that you tell yourself about yourself.
Life is not operating against you.
Never,
Ever.
It's not operating for you as well but it's definitely not operating against you.
It's just the matter of you choosing to accept life instead of rejecting them as they manifest in the present moment.
And sometimes the experience is painful or sad sometimes it's very challenging or intense.
So what?
Is it beyond your capacity?
Never!
Is it truly that you cannot handle it?
It's just you not realizing how big how vast you are.
I'm telling you your chemistry to the level of the cells will change accordingly.
If you truly choose to identify with a different story.
If you truly choose to regain that ability to respond.
Life has no option but to readjust itself to what you are.
In that sense you create your own reality.
If you believe life is miserable you will be miserable guaranteed.
But if you believe that life is an never ending opportunity to learn and grow and rejoice that will be your reality guaranteed.
Life has no choice but to adjust itself to the position that you are because it's a reflection of who you are of what you are.
Do you see what I'm saying?
AJ is saying the West is based on greed capital.
Awakening is a threat to the basis of these societies.
Human nature has all of that.
Human nature has greed human nature has fear human nature has attachment.
It's for you to drop the idea that it should have been different.
And the only question that is relevant at any time it doesn't matter if you face greed or compassion.
If you face fear or love doesn't matter what you face.
Whatever life has to offer it's for you to embrace it to stay open and soft to accept life with an open heart and a willing soul.
That's the only thing that concerns you.
The rest will take care of itself I guarantee.
Don't go out trying to fix the Western society because it's full of greed and whatever.
The Western society is not broken.
There's nothing to fix.
You make sure you stay open and soft and the rest will be a natural outcome of that I guarantee.
Don't worry.
I feel there are indigenous spirits are with us tonight today.
Do you feel it?
What else?
Tony talked about your talk on I am not my story.
Yeah.
So if you really want to disassociate with your story there are two different sessions that you can go on Insight Timer.
One is called I am not my story which is a talk and the other one is called me and my story which is a guided meditation which I highly recommend you do.
It's like 25 minutes of guided meditation that focuses on the difference between the path that you are walking on and you.
So you gain that sense of freedom.
I am not my story.
Story is just a story.
All the events that happened.
I am free right now.
So practice that.
Listen to that.
Practice it.
Very important.
You want to feel vast?
You are vast.
Know that.
The rest will follow.
Know it.
Know it not just from the experience level.
You know don't chase the experience.
Wake up to that realization.
The problem with those you know peak experiences on the spiritual path you know we all had those.
Those you know graceful moments of complete unity of no I just bliss you know and then it goes away like everything else like all experiences.
Good or bad you know they all disappear and something else replace them.
So what happens then we are dedicated to re reignite those experiences to chase those experiences like storm hunters you know those people that chase the tornado wherever it goes hoping to get another peak.
Don't worry about that.
A mundane experience is not less divine than the most graceful experience.
There is another talk Finding Divinity Within the Mundane on InsideTimer.
Check it out.
Stop trying to experience something specific.
Again you're trapped.
When will I be happy?
When Jesus comes again and touches my forehead like he did when I was 25.
You know don't worry about that.
Jesus is waiting here now for you to be happy that's it.
How I chase experiences don't don't don't wait for a different one.
This one that you are currently having is the one that you are supposed to experience in this present moment.
You just make sure that you are available to experience it fully.
That's it.
What else?
Howard says I believe that God created us each of us uniquely because he is very creative and he loves to create stories and each of us are one of his stories.
He wants us to be the writer of our own stories and be creative just like him.
He wants us however to make sure that our stories are always devoted to him.
That's one way to put it.
More questions.
Maybe one day we'll talk about what is God and our relationship with it.
Really?
We'll put a note for next week.
Today we focus on depression and how to get out of it.
Beautiful.
Who didn't ask?
God is breath and presence.
Beautiful.
Now drop it.
What would you be without that definition?
Barbara is there something opposite to depression that we should also be aware of?
Opposite to depression opposite to depression is presence.
No,
It's not mania.
Mania is on the experience level on the emotion level.
Right?
We feel low we feel high.
We feel low we feel high.
We feel low we feel high.
That's the natural rhythm of every human.
When we are identified as manic-depressive that's the amplitude is higher than normal.
That's the only difference.
Right?
We go very high and then we go very low.
But we all every one of us feel high and low and high and low that's a a signal that we are still alive in our body.
Emotions come and emotions go and sometimes it's high and sometimes it's low.
It's okay.
No problem with that.
But truly on the spiritual level the opposite of depression is presence.
Your willingness to be present.
Stop rejecting.
Stop avoiding.
Stop manipulating the experience to fit your expectations your demands your conditions.
No.
To be present within what is as it is when it happens right now in the present moment.
That's it.
Depression is all about avoiding it.
The opposite of avoiding is allowing.
Be present.
When I'm present I'm accepting both the highs and the lows.
And I'm not identified with each of them.
I'm not conditioned by any of them.
I'm not dependent on any of them.
When will I be happy?
When I will feel high again.
No.
No,
It doesn't matter.
Low is okay as well.
Natural.
I'm in a body sometimes the prana is low.
That's it.
What happens if I am clinically identified as manic-depressive?
That's it.
The modern medicine took over and put a line a baseline.
If you cross that baseline you are defined as clinically sick with a disease called mania depressia.
I would say heal yourself.
Use whatever means you have to heal yourself.
If you need to use the assistance of doctors or modern medicine if you need to regulate yourself by taking drugs that were prescribed by a professional do whatever is necessary.
Because more than anything else you want to be available to experience life and be fully open to whatever life has to offer.
And when you are on that rollercoaster it consumes you.
It doesn't really allow you to do that.
So you do whatever is necessary to stabilize that.
It's okay to use modern medicine whatever whatever is there to help you do that.
And once you feel that you are balanced enough you can take back that responsibility that we have discussed earlier and continue the path by yourself.
It does take some kind of inner stability to walk on the spiritual path.
So make sure you have that stability established within you.
Otherwise you will be thrown and you might so yeah just do whatever is necessary.
And take full responsibility to that decision and the consequences of that decision.
I want to be available.
I want to be in the position of totally embracing this opportunity to live my life fully.
Mars is asking this was a vital talk can we do a part two?
Definitely.
Definitely.
I'm not going anywhere.
And also we'll post the recording of this session on InsideTimer so you can listen to it again and maybe share it with your friends or someone that you know that needs some guidance in that sense.
Howard is having something to say.
It is very fascinating to me that when I respond and it sounds like I disagree with you I am not.
I am agreeing with you at the same time that I am expressing my point of view and experience.
These talks are best met when you combine two different types of listening.
You know one is the intellectual listening that tries to understand and to get the point and agrees and disagrees and all that.
And another kind of listening is what we call emotional.
You listen with your heart not with your head.
So it doesn't matter if you agree or disagree you just allow you accept.
Otherwise you stay in the realm of what you already know and agree with and you don't really grow that way.
So allow your intellect to work but not interfere too much and accept also things that you don't truly understand or accept or agree with.
Allow it and it doesn't matter.
Maybe it will sprout today maybe next year it doesn't matter.
Just allow the seeds of new creation to enter your system.
What else?
Time for one or two more questions about depression.
Who didn't ask yet?
Marcy says love your talks and your relationship together brings hope.
What about hope?
Hope is an interesting word.
Hope is good better than hopeless.
Just don't get too entangled with hope.
You know?
Think about it.
Hope is you believing that the present moment is not good enough.
Right?
Think about it.
I hope one day it will be better.
We don't hope that one day it's going to be worse.
Yeah,
Exactly.
You believe that this moment is not good enough.
It could be much more perfect or at least similar to the idea you have in your head about perfection.
So,
Let go of that,
Truly.
God is not waiting for you tomorrow.
God is waiting for you now in the present moment.
The question is are you available to meet him or are you waiting for something else?
Do you see the difference?
So if you are hopeful,
Good,
Good.
But don't be too attached to it.
If you are hopeless,
Excellent.
Go all the way.
Be completely and utterly despair.
It also has very deep quality of liberation,
Of freedom.
If you are miserable,
Hopeless,
If you lost any hope that the situation will be ever better than this,
Good,
Go all the way.
Dive deep into that.
Be completely despair.
Only truly desperate people embrace God totally.
The present moment,
Doesn't matter how you want to call it.
People who truly have nothing more to lose.
If you feel that you still have something to lose,
You keep it,
You hide it,
You hold it,
You protect it.
You see,
Your fists are closed.
That's it.
God,
I have nothing to do here.
That's what Buddha did moments before enlightenment.
You know,
He sat under the buddhi tree and he said,
That's it,
God,
I've got nothing to do here anymore.
My job here is done.
I've lost any hope.
I've tried everything.
I looked everywhere.
I learned all the techniques.
I've practiced.
I starved myself.
I did whatever is possible.
I don't figure it out.
Take me,
I'm done here.
That was his position.
And then,
He woke up.
But,
You have to go all the way.
What else?
Kat's saying,
Only truly desperate people.
What?
She didn't hear it.
They didn't hear what you said after that.
Only truly desperate people.
Truly let go.
Only truly desperate people allowing themselves to let go.
AJ.
First Marci says,
How do we start reconfiguring our story?
It starts with listening to that talk about me and my story.
I mean,
Not my story.
Go to my Insight Timer page.
Find that recording.
Listen to it.
Okay,
And practice the guided meditation.
Me and my story.
Practice that.
It starts there.
It gives you a very good foundation.
Okay,
And if you want to discuss more,
We can do that next week.
And AJ says,
What is the spiritual purpose for depression?
What is the spiritual purpose for depression?
To fill your happiness with meaning.
I would say that's the spiritual purpose of sadness.
Depression is not needed.
It's you rejecting,
Avoiding sadness.
That's it.
As we said in the beginning of this session.
Depression is not something life on the spectrum of emotions that life has to offer.
It's you rejecting that spectrum.
Do you see the difference?
But sadness is there to fill your happiness with meaning.
To deepen your happiness.
Otherwise you wouldn't know that you're happy.
How could you know?
No?
Your happiness is just the other side of the spectrum from sadness.
And only through sadness you realize that you are happy.
Because you've experienced both.
So don't reject sadness when it comes.
Embrace it.
Don't be afraid of sadness.
It's not a problem that you're sad from time to time.
All of us are.
It's inevitable.
Life can be very painful.
And when pain comes,
Experience pain.
Allow it.
Allow pain.
Don't reject it.
Don't believe it shouldn't be there and you can only be happy when it goes away.
No.
That's an illusion.
That's not the truth.
Do you see that?
Embrace life.
Allow it to manifest in the present moment.
And whatever is happening remind yourself it's never beyond your capacity.
Never ever beyond your capacity.
That's an illusion.
If it's there for you to experience it's because you can experience it with a full heart and a willing soul.
Now the only choice that you have in life comes into play.
Do you allow yourself or do you believe no,
No,
No,
No,
No.
This is not for me.
This is too much.
I can't handle it.
Right?
Then suffering begins.
One question.
Lisa said hope equals hang on because the pain ends.
And then they said thank you.
I wish my beautiful brother had known it would pass.
He took his life and I tried to help him and I'm allowing myself to let go.
It comes back and goes.
I feel your pain.
I feel your pain.
It's okay.
It's okay to cry.
It's okay to feel pain.
And rejoice the fact that you still are here in a body to feel life with meaning.
To feel your life with meaning.
Marcy says but we don't need to keep being sad after we know.
Sadness is a part of life.
We don't need it.
It sometimes happens.
Don't worry about it.
It's not better to be happy than to be sad.
It's okay.
When sadness comes experience it.
It will too pass and change like all other events.
Barbara says thank you for making being together so important that you even do it when you're on vacation in the wilderness.
Your example is noted.
Lisa says I think depression is rooted in unconscious anger at your divine being.
Underneath the anger is fear and grief.
At separation from the great spirit within.
I had a dream and he said live for me now,
Lisa.
Beautiful.
Do it.
Fully.
And you know anger what is anger is frustration built up.
What is frustration is you believing that it should have been different.
That's it.
So if you don't want a life full of anger and frustration and violence and all that drama good.
Choose not to live that life.
How?
Embrace the present moment.
Love it as it is happening right now.
Stop arguing with it.
Your energy will stay high and you will not consume prana unnecessarily.
You'll be much more available to experience life in the present moment.
Guaranteed.
All money back.
So thank you guys for being here.
We do appreciate it.
Thank you for your beautiful questions and your honesty.
We all benefit from it.
Thank you for your donations and do go to the meetings and the guided meditations that we refer to in this meeting.
Don't be lazy.
Go find it.
Practice.
Learn.
Make it the most important thing for you.
The most important thing.
And we'll meet again next week.
Bring a friend and we'll make it a party.
What do you say?
Yes?
