Welcome,
Beautiful soul.
Take a moment now to find a comfortable position lying down.
Allow your body to settle into the surface beneath you.
Let your arms rest easily by your side.
Let your legs fall open naturally.
Make any small adjustments you need to so your body can feel completely supported and at ease.
When you are ready,
Gently close your eyes.
You are safe here.
You are held here.
There is nothing you need to do.
Yoga Nidra is a practice of deep rest.
The body sleeps while awareness gently remains.
If at any point you drift off or lose parts of my voice,
That is perfectly fine.
The body and the subconscious continue to receive exactly what they need.
Begin by bringing your awareness to your breath,
Not changing it,
Not guiding it,
Simply feeling the breath as it moves in and out of the body.
Feel the breath as sensation,
The subtle movement in the chest,
The gentle rise and fall of the belly.
With every exhale,
Feel the body sink a little deeper into the surface beneath you.
With every inhale,
Effort softens.
The breath becomes quieter,
Slower,
More stable.
The nervous system begins to settle.
Awareness rests lightly on the breath without effort.
Now allow your awareness to move through the body,
Bringing your attention to the right hand,
The right thumb,
The index finger,
The middle finger,
The ring finger,
The little finger,
The palm of the right hand,
The back of the hand,
The wrist,
The lower arm,
The elbow,
The upper arm,
The right shoulder,
The right side of the rib cage,
The right thigh,
The sole of the right foot,
The top of the foot,
The right big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
The entire right side of the body resting.
Now bring your awareness to the left hand,
The left thumb,
The index finger,
The middle finger,
The ring finger,
The little finger,
The palm of the hand,
The back of the hand,
The left shoulder,
The left side of the rib cage,
Left thigh,
Heel,
The sole of the foot,
The top of the foot,
The left big toe,
Second toe,
Little toe,
The entire left side of the body,
The back of the head,
The neck,
The back of the pelvis,
Back of the thighs,
Now the front of the body,
The cheeks,
The tongue resting,
The throat,
The collar bones,
The lower abdomen,
The front of the thighs,
The shins,
The entire body is resting as one.
Feel the whole body together,
Heavy,
Still.
Now your awareness begins to move inward,
Not into thought,
Not into imagination of the outside world,
But into the inner landscape of the body,
Into the cells,
Into the spaces between the cells.
The body is resting inside a vast field of intelligence,
A field that organises life.
Every cell is listening.
As the body rests,
This field begins to gently rewire the nervous system.
Old signals of urgency soften.
Old patterns of holding begin to unwind.
The body learns a new rhythm,
A rhythm that does not brace,
Does not cling,
Does not rush.
Expansion begins here.
Not as movement outward,
But as space opening inward.
At the chest,
Inside the belly,
Inside the spine.
Cells soften their boundaries.
They no longer need to protect or hold.
What has been carried for survival is no longer required.
As this happens,
Experience stored in the body begins to integrate,
Not relived,
Simply released.
Experiences become information.
Information becomes wisdom.
Nothing is lost.
Everything is honoured.
The energetic field around the body becomes steady and coherent,
Balanced,
Supportive.
You may sense a warmth,
Subtle vibration,
Or a feeling of spaciousness beyond the physical body.
This field responds to safety.
And safety is present.
Within the state,
Growth happens naturally.
There is no pushing towards a future vision of yourself.
Only a quiet evolution.
Old identities soften automatically,
Not forcefully.
They simply no longer need to be held.
What remains is clarity,
Presence,
Trust.
The body understands now that expansion does not require effort.
It requires rest.
You rest here for a while.
Nothing to do,
Nothing to understand.
The body rewires itself through stillness.
Slowly,
Very slowly,
Awareness begins to return to the breath.
The gentle rise and fall of the body.
The state integrates deeply into the nervous system,
Into the cells,
Into the way you meet life.
Begin to feel the surface beneath you again.
The space around you.
Take your time.
Nothing needs to be rushed.
When it feels right,
Take a beautiful,
Deep inhale into the belly and a soft,
Gentle exhale.
You can bring some movement into your fingers and toes.
And when your body is ready,
You can softly open your eyes.
Nothing needs to change.
You are already aligned with expansion.
With love and gratitude,
Thank you for going on this magical journey with me.
