Take a deep breath in through your nose,
And as you exhale,
Release any tension you may be feeling in your body.
Allow yourself to settle into this quiet moment with God,
Acknowledging his presence around you and within you.
Now bring your awareness to your breath,
Inhale deeply,
Inviting the Holy Spirit into your heart,
And as you exhale,
Releasing any worries or burdens you may have about the coming day.
Now I want you to reflect on one to two things you're grateful for today.
Whisper a quiet thank you,
Lord,
As you focus on all the blessings he has put in your life.
Now reflect on some verses with me.
Psalms 118.
24,
This is a day that the Lord has made,
Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Let these words settle in your heart and consider how you can rejoice and honor the Lord in the way you approach your day today.
Lord,
I want to thank you for this new day and the gift of life.
Help me to walk in your light and make choices that honor you and show love to those around me.
Be my guide,
Be my strength,
And be my peace today,
Lord.
