Good morning and welcome to this meditation.

I hope I'm able to bring some peace and some clarity into your morning.

Welcome to a new day.

Before the world asks you of anything,

Before you pour into others,

Just know that this is your space.

This is for you.

To meet the morning in stillness and to listen what your body is saying and to return to yourself.

Let's begin by gently arriving.

Take a deep breath in through your nose.

Feel your lungs filling up.

Then hold it.

And now slowly exhale through your mouth.

Let your shoulders drop.

Again,

Take a deep breath in.

And slowly breathe out.

Let this breath soften the muscles in your face,

In your chest,

And in your belly.

Let yourself melt into the moment.

You are not behind.

You are not late.

And there is nowhere you need to be except for here.

You woke up today and that is enough in this moment.

Let your breath be natural now.

In and out through the nose.

Just notice the rise and the fall of your breath like a wave.

Let your attention follow it.

This wave is like your anchor,

Gently grounding your body into the earth.

Now gently bring your awareness to your body.

Notice the sensations in your hands,

In your jaw,

In your spine,

In your neck.

Just know we're not trying to fix anything right now.

We're just observing.

Just remember that stillness is not the absence of thought.

It's just the space between the thoughts.

And in that space,

Something sacred lives.

When we begin the day in stillness,

We activate the prefrontal cortex.

This is the part of your brain that is responsible for focus,

Planning,

And decision-making.

This is where we tell the body we are safe.

This keeps cortisol lower and serotonin steady.

So let's stay here a little longer in that safe and quiet space.

If thoughts arise,

Greet them like clouds passing through the sky.

Acknowledge them and gently return to your breath.

Take a soft inhale and a soft exhale.

Now place your hand gently on your heart.

Feel your heartbeat and acknowledge that you are safe.

You are grounded.

And you begin this day with clarity and peace.

And if you would like,

You can set a gentle intention.

What would feel nourishing today for me?

What energy do you want to carry with you today?

Now breathe into those intentions and let it bloom.

You're ready to meet the day.

With presence,

With strength,

And with softness.

There is stillness within you.

Feel it and carry it with you.

Thank you for listening.

I hope you can bring this intention and this peace with you throughout your day.

Just know you are always welcome back any morning to set this intention and to refocus and recalm.
