Hi,

And welcome to this meditation that will help you get what you want in life.

I'm sure you've heard of the process of manifestation,

And this meditation is not going to be a believe-that-you-can-get-it-and-then-it'll-just-magically-appear kind of meditation.

This meditation is about getting from life what we want through self-responsibility.

And trust me,

It's a completely magical process.

It doesn't require hard work,

But what it requires is that your life be aligned with the goal that you want to achieve.

Most often,

When we don't get from life what we want,

It's because our vectors of will are dispersed.

Different parts of our personality want different things,

And so our actions are pulling us in many different directions.

This is a very inefficient way of moving through life.

And so,

In the meditation of today,

I'm going to invite you on a little process that will help you align the vectors of your will and the vectors of your action in a single direction,

The direction that will give you that which you are looking for.

So I'd like to invite you to sit in a comfortable position,

Keeping the spine upright,

And let us center ourselves by focusing the attention on the breath.

Feel the rise and fall of your chest with each inhale and exhale.

Allow any lingering thoughts to drift away,

Bringing your awareness fully into the present moment.

Now,

Let us set a clear intention.

In the spiritual traditions,

This is called a sankalpa,

And there are some magical aspects that involve mantras and various items which are designed to strengthen them.

The most basic of these is holding water in your hands and performing this process in front of a lit lamp.

And so,

If you want to pause and bring some kind of candle and bring some water to hold in your right palm normally,

You can do so.

Then,

I want you to reflect on a specific goal or desire you wish to manifest.

Ensure that this intention is clear,

Specific,

And aligns with your core values.

Make sure you have a good mental image of this.

Try to visualize the goal in detail,

Imagining the scenario in which this goal is achieved in all its aspects.

Try to see it as a complete moment in time,

Which includes all of your senses,

Your sight,

Your hearing,

Your physical sensations,

Smells and tastes,

Everything.

As you hold this vision,

Acknowledge the role you play in bringing it to life.

Affirm to yourself.

I am the architect of my reality.

Through my thoughts,

Beliefs,

And actions,

I create the life I desire.

Now shift your awareness back to the present moment.

Recognize that you are in your room holding a bit of cupped water in your right hand,

Possibly,

And possibly in front of a light source.

And then shift your attention back to the moment of achieving this goal.

Now,

We must recognize the path that you need to take in order to reach your goal.

If you're not sure about the path that you need to take,

Then I invite you to create a kind of mental map of all the steps that you need to achieve in order to achieve the goal,

But going backwards in time.

Start from the moment of achieving your goal and see what the directly preceding practical step that you need to take in order to achieve that goal.

And then,

Once you know the step just before attaining your goal,

See what the step is to reach that point.

Let me give you an example.

If you wish to have a very successful yoga school,

Then the final image is probably of yourself in a studio which is owned by you,

Teaching a lot of people.

And so you can ask yourself,

What is the step that I take before,

Just before,

All of these people reach my studio?

And there are many options here,

But maybe it is that you need to advertise.

And so you need to visualize yourself advertising an invitation to come to your class in your own studio.

And then you need to ask yourself,

Well,

What is the step that I need to take before advertising myself?

And maybe that is renting my own studio.

So you need to visualize yourself signing a lease of renting that studio.

And then ask yourself,

What is the step before this?

Well,

Maybe it's finding a studio,

Or maybe it's negotiating for this lease.

So imagine that step,

Either negotiating and then finding the studio.

And before finding,

You need to search for the studio.

And maybe you actually need money.

You don't have enough money right now to rent a studio,

Even if you found it.

And so a step before that would be to earn money.

And maybe in order to earn money,

To have money to rent a studio,

You need first to be hired as a yoga teacher somewhere and earn money that way.

So you need to visualize yourself being hired.

But maybe you haven't even trained yet to be a yoga teacher.

And so you need to take a yoga teacher training.

Be as detailed as you can.

You can imagine that there are so many different ways to reach your final goal.

You don't need to think of all of the different ways.

You just need to choose the one that you feel is most right for you and that is also most plausible.

I could imagine that I win the lottery and then I have enough money to rent a yoga studio.

But that is something that is not in my control.

Make sure that all the steps are within your control.

Maybe you're not able to take them now,

But that's why they are steps.

And in this way,

You work back from your goal down to the present moment where you are on your chair holding a little bit of water as an offering to the universe in front of the flame that serves as your witness.

Make sure that you create this plan step by step.

Now maybe you're going to need an hour for this.

Maybe you're going to need a whole day.

Maybe you need to take time and just think about it.

But make the plan step by step.

And once you have the plan sitting in front of the flame holding a little bit of cupped water in your right hand,

Go through the plan step by step.

Every step that you need to take along the path.

Starting from the smallest step,

What are you doing the moment that you're getting up from your chair?

Run over this plan several times.

You can even visualize it as a string that has little bubbles on it,

Each bubble representing a step you need to take.

At this point in this process,

You may start to have intruding images,

Intruding voices that are saying,

Oh,

You won't succeed in this step.

You won't succeed in that step.

And I want you to allow these thoughts to be for a moment.

They appear as different strings coming out of your line,

Out of the line of the actions that will bring you to your goal.

And just let them be little pearls,

Images on strings that are coming out of your main line.

And the only thing I want you to do with those is imagine that they are lacking color,

That the steps that you imagine and that you need to take are very colorful with a lot of saturation.

And those that are disturbing you or were arising from thoughts of where you might not succeed are black and white.

And the colors are not clear,

The contrast is not high,

And it's even a little bit blurry.

Now that you have a firm grasp on all the steps you need to take,

Immerse yourself in the positive emotions associated with achieving your goal.

Joy,

Gratitude,

Pride,

Happiness.

Allow these feelings to permit your being,

To reinforce your commitment to the path,

And to kind of imbibe this mental image of a string with all of the steps that you need to take from where you are right now to your final goal.

Then repeat silently or aloud,

I am committed to taking the necessary steps to achieve my goals.

I trust in my ability to turn my visions into reality through dedicated action.

If that sounds good to you,

You can repeat it together with me.

I'll say it line by line.

I am committed to taking the necessary steps to achieve my goals.

I trust in my ability to turn my visions into reality through dedicated action.

Then,

When you feel you are ready,

You need to do one final action,

And that is let go of the water that you've been holding and let it fall down to the ground.

This represents a letting go.

We don't know exactly the outcome of each step,

And the line that will follow may have to adjust itself.

But what you have is a commitment.

Even if you need to take a detour,

Even if you need to insert one or two extra steps in order to progress along your life,

You have the line of your will,

And you have diminished the other voices.

You have aligned your desires in a single direction.

Gradually bring your awareness back to your surroundings.

You can bring your hands in front of your chest in Anjali Mudra.

Making a solemn prayer of hope.

Telling the universe,

I will do my part.

Help me by making it as easy as possible.

But whatever comes my way,

I will do my part.

Take a deep breath,

And exhale.

And before getting up,

You can leave the candle be,

If you want.

But if you want to put it out,

Do not blow on it.

Do not use your breath to blow on it.

Use your fingers or any other kind of instrument to extinguish the flame.

But it's customary not to blow on it.

May you align your intentions with meaningful action,

Attracting opportunities and insights that lead you closer to your dreams.

No matter how small,
