Sit,
Or lay down,
And make yourself comfortable.
Place all of your attention on your heart,
All of your focus,
All of your awareness on your heart,
Feel your heart,
And try to ignore everything else,
Just focus on your heart.
Take a deep and slow breath in through the nose,
Hold,
And let all of the air flow out of your mouth.
Take another deep and slow breath,
Hold it.
Another breath in through the nose,
Another breath in through the nose,
Filling your lungs up with air,
Hold it,
Breathe into your heart,
Find your own flow.
Make sure your breath is steady,
Deep,
And slow,
Breathing in and out with your heart.
Breathe into your heart,
As if you're breathing with your heart,
All of your attention on your heart-centered breathing.
Allow your breath to become even deeper,
Even slower,
Breathing in and out of the heart.
If the mind gets busy,
Don't engage with it,
Don't judge anything that comes up,
Just return to your heart-centered breathing,
All of your focus on your breath and on your heart.

You can repeat the following mantra in your mind.
I am safe.
I am at peace.
I am safe.
I am at peace.
Feel your heart,
And feel your deep and slow breath,
Rest into your heart.
