Welcome.
Sit up straight.
Take a moment to settle down into a comfortable position.
Close your eyes.
Slowly and gently.
Take a deep and slow breath in through your nose and as you exhale soften your body soften the attention that lies on your thoughts,
Another slow and deep breath in.
Hold it.
And as you exhale,
Your whole past,
Let it go for a moment.
For the duration of this meditation.
There is no need.
To indulge in any thoughts about your past.
Take one more slow and deep breath.
Order.
And as you exhale now.
The whole future that lies ahead of you.
Surrender it.
Let it go.
Now.
Just allow your breath.
To flow naturally.
Feel it.
Gently flowing in.
And flowing out.
Become aware of your sense of being being here in this exact moment.
Being as you are.
Exactly as you are.
Before any thought Can you feel it?
Pure presence.
Pure being.
Without any thoughts about it.
Without giving it.
Any label or meaning.
Just you,
In its most naked and open form.
That sense of beingness that has always been with you and that has never changed.
Often clouded by the busyness of the mind.
For the coming minutes,
There is nothing that you have to do.
Nothing that you have to try.
Just allow yourself to be.
Be like the ocean.
Fast.
There may be waves on the surface,
But they do not affect the ocean in any way.
Thoughts or feelings may arise.
Allow them to arise and fade away.
Stop indulging,
As if they are actually you.
To not give them any meaning.
Just let them arise and fade away.
Like the waves in the ocean.
If you notice any part of you that still tries.
Any part of you that still thinks it needs to do something.
Just let it go.
With a long exhale,
Let it float away from you.
Dissolving back into the infinite ocean.
Rest as the vastness of the ocean.
Anchor yourself.
In the depths of your being.
When you stop looking for calm or peace.
And simply surrender.
You'll notice that peace has always already been here.
Surrender all trying.
Surrender all doing.
As your effortlessly peaceful self.
Enjoy this peace.
Whatever arises.
Whatever appearance a wave may take.
It will always dissolve back into perfect oneness with the ocean.
It has never not been one with the infinite perfection of creation.
Now.
You can gently come back to your body.
To this moment in time.
Feel your breath flowing.
Feel your body.
Know that you can always come back to this peace.
Not by trying to get there,
But by surrendering all forms of trying.
