Welcome to the still point.
Meditation for after a binge.
For repair,
Not punishment.
These are for the moments when the shame is loud and the urge to disconnect is strong.
If you're here,
You may be feeling full.
Physically,
Emotionally,
Energetically.
Maybe your chest is tight.
Maybe your mind is loud.
Maybe guilt is creeping in,
Telling you lies about who you are or what this means.
Pause.
Take a breath with me now.
Inhale slowly through your nose and exhale gently through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale and exhale.
You are not broken.
You are simply a nervous system trying to regulate using the tools that it has.
This is not a failure.
This is a signal.
Let's start by checking in.
Physically,
What do you notice in your body?
Now emotionally,
What's here?
And energetically,
How would you describe your inner world right now?
You don't have to fix any of it right this second.
I just need you to start to breathe into it all.
Inhale gently into your belly.
Expand.
Now exhale out through the crown of your head.
Soften.
Inhale into your body,
Meeting it with compassion.
And exhale out the top of your head,
Releasing tension,
Releasing shame.
This moment is not about punishment.
This moment is about repair.
Bring one hand to your belly and one to your heart if it feels okay.
Feel your own warmth.
Feel your breath rising.
Just notice.
Let this be a turning point,
Not a spiral.
Now silently repeat after me.
This moment does not define me.
My body is not the enemy.
I can come back to myself and offer care.
If your mind is screaming at you to restrict,
Compensate,
Or numb,
Just pause.
We don't have to obey those thoughts.
You're allowed to be gentle.
You're allowed to just be here.
Now imagine a soft light surrounding your body.
Not to fix you,
But to hold you.
To comfort your belly.
Let it meet the tension in your jaws.
Let it meet the storm in your chest.
You are not in trouble.
You're in recovery.
Recovery is messy.
Beautifully imperfect.
Take another slow breath in.
And exhale softly through the crown of your head.
Let the noise drift up and away.
Now ask yourself gently,
What would support me next?
A glass of water?
A soft blanket?
A short walk?
A quiet room?
Not because you need to make up for anything.
But because you deserve care.
Even in this moment.
Especially in this moment.
Let's close with this.
But I am still worthy of peace.
I can return to myself.
I don't have to be perfect to keep going.
Inhale breath deep into the belly.
And exhale fully,
Slowly releasing the story.
You're still here.
You are still healing.
And you are still enough.
You are still enough.
