Now gently release the small muscles all around your eyes.
Your eyes can now rest.
Imagine veils naturally settling over them.
Allow your jaw to part slightly.
To loosen.
It may have been clenched by stress.
Let all that tension drop away.
Now let your tongue rest quietly in your mouth.
Your shoulders can now drop and relax completely.
They have the right to lay down their burden.
Feel how they naturally sink down.
Let us free up this space between your shoulder blades.
Now feel the natural weight of your arms.
Resting along your body.
There is this pleasant.
Beneficial heaviness.
That can gradually settle into your forearms.
Into your elbows.
Your elbows sinking into the mattress.
And your hands can now completely surrender to their own weight.
And each finger.
Can relax a little more.
Allow your chest to open now.
To soften with each exhalation.
And feel the space that is created all around your heart.
This breath that becomes slower.
Deeper.
Without any effort on your part.
The breathing happens on its own.
And your heart beats peacefully.
Regularly.
Reminding you that you are alive.
That you are here.
In perfect safety.
Feel the calm that now settles in your abdomen.
Let this area fill and expand completely.
You are at peace with your body.

Settles into your hips.

And connect to the Earth.

Try to locate this area.
Taste the different textures of this fear.
A color.
It may have a smell.
Or a taste.
Or this fear may manifest as a thought that goes round in circles.
As a blurred memory.
Or simply as a feeling of unease.
Simply look at this fear.
Without judgment.
Just watch it as you would watch a cloud passing by in the sky.
So yes,
This fear can be there.
It can exist.
That is a fact.
But it is not you.
You are the one who observes it.
And in the silence that settles.
The fear reveals itself as a kind of subtle matter.
A shifting texture that slides and transforms.
Fear is not fixed.
Imagine each thread that composes it.
Vibrating with the energy of the one who feels it.
An energy sometimes heavy.
Almost compact.
Imagine the energy of a star folded in on itself.
Now I invite you to address this texture gently.
Ask it.
What are you trying to protect in me?
What message do you want to bring me?
And then.
In the silence,
Listen.
Perhaps this fear speaks to you of vulnerability.
Of the need for safety.
Of protection from an old wound.
Take the time to let everything that needs to rise to the surface come up.

You are safe.

What do you need in order to feel reassured?

How could you loosen your grip?
