This meditation is there for you to help you let go of the hustle and the bustle from your day.
Take a few moments to allow yourself to center,
Become present,
And flow into the state of home.
Thank you for being here.
Now,
Let's wind down together.
Find a comfortable position,
Seated or lying down,
And let your hands rest gently wherever they may fall.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Hold it at the top,
And sigh it out through your mouth.
Let's do that again.
Breathe in deeply,
Hold it at the top,
And sigh it out.
And one last time,
Deep breath in,
Hold it at the top,
And sigh it out.
Allow this simple act of breathing to release tension,
Anxiousness,
And stress.
Feel your jaw loosen,
Your shoulders drop,
And more of a connection to you in this present state.
Feel yourself arrive here,
Now,
Present.
Take one more deep breath in,
And on the exhale,
Slowly and gently close your eyes.
Allow your breath to settle into a soft,
Natural rhythm.
See yourself,
Now,
Lying in an open meadow under a twilight sky.
The sun has just dipped below the horizon,
Leaving behind streaks of gold and lavender.
The grass beneath you is soft,
Cool,
Welcoming.
The new stars begin to shimmer above,
One by one,
Like tiny beacons of calm.
With every breath,
Feel the gentle pull of the earth beneath you,
Supporting you,
Holding you.
And as you exhale,
Let the day begin to drift away,
Each thought a cloud slowly passing across the sky.
There's simply nothing that you need to do right now,
Just be.
Hear the distant hum of crickets rising in song.
Feel the cool evening breeze brush softly against your skin,
And above you,
A soft blanket of starlight begins to wrap around your body,
A gentle,
Glowing cocoon of peace.
And with each breath,
Sink deeper into this feeling of stillness.
Let go of the tension in your shoulders,
Release the weight in your chest,
Allow your legs to become heavy,
Allow them to become relaxed.
Feel your feet melt into the earth beneath them.
Whisper to yourself,
Let these words echo softly within.
Rest here in this peaceful stillness for a few more breaths.
When you're ready,
Take one final full breath in,
Stretch out your arms,
And slowly exhale.
Now,
Return to your evening with calm in your body,
Softness in your mind,
And peace in your heart.
