My name is Laura and this is Skye and I'm here today to share with you a beautiful grounding guided meditation to just help you feel a little bit more relaxed and connected You just had a yawn!
But that's the idea,
Just to bring a little bit more of calm and relaxation to your Sunday afternoon So without further ado,
We will jump right in Just get yourself comfortable and I'll see you on the other side I invite you now to take a beautiful,

Deep breath in and breathe out Just take a moment to settle into stillness If you haven't already done so,
Close your eyes and take another nice,
Long,
Deep breath in through your nose and gently exhale through your mouth And again,
Breathe in peace and exhale any tension you may be holding onto Feel your shoulders soften and your jaw unclench And your thoughts are beginning to slow down Just imagine you're outside in nature You could be maybe by the sea or sitting beneath an old tree But you can feel the solid,
Beautiful earth beneath you Steady,
Calm and supportive And as you breathe,
Imagine these beautiful roots gently extending from the soles of your feet deep down into the earth These roots are carrying your energy downwards and connecting you to the stability and the wisdom of Mother Earth below And with every breath,
You feel more balanced Now I'd like you to bring your awareness to your heart Imagine a soft,
Warm,
Glowing light there And the energy is of calm and safety And with each breath,
Let the light expand Let it expand down through your body,
Through your legs and into the earth grounding you deeply and letting go of anything you no longer need Any worries,
Stress or overthinking Just simply release it through the roots in the ground The beautiful Mother Earth transforms that energy and reuses it Gets turned into peace and balance and love Feel as your body grows heavier and steadier And feel the rhythm of your breath aligning with the rhythm of nature itself Because you are connected You are safe You are supported You are home within yourself Take a few more deep breaths Inhaling calm and exhaling the release And then finally take an extra long deep breath in And release And I invite you now that when you feel completely ready Gently bring your awareness back to your body And wriggling your fingers and your toes And maybe notice how grounded and at ease you might feel now And then when you feel ready Gently open your eyes to the room around you Thank you so much for joining me and Sky in this guided meditation Thank you
