Welcome to this guided meditation for cultivating inner peace and mindfulness.
Take a few moments to find yourself a nice comfortable position,
However that looks for you.
Just ensure that you can be comfortable,
Relaxed and where you won't be disturbed.
And then when you feel ready,
Gently close your eyes to the room around you.
I invite you to begin by taking three nice deep cleansing breaths at your own pace and in your own time.
With each breath,
Inhale deeply through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.
And allow yourself to let go of any tension or distractions and fully arrive in this present moment.
And then when you have completed the cycle of three breaths,
I invite you to just notice your natural rhythm of breath.
Don't try and change or alter your breath,
Just noticing the rise and fall of your chest.
Notice the temperature of the air as it enters and exits your body.
Maybe noticing the little micro movements,
For example,
The gentle movements of your shoulders and your arms.
And if your mind is beginning to wander,
Just don't worry,
Just bring your thoughts back to your breath and where you are in that cycle of breath.
I invite you now to bring your attention to your feet and the soles of your feet.
And visualize roots growing from your feet and anchoring you firmly to the earth.
Feel the support and stability of the ground beneath you.
Take a few deep breaths,
Feeling the connection between your body and the earth.
And imagining those roots going deeper and deeper.
And with each inhale that you take,
Draw in the grounding energy.
And with each exhale,
Release any remaining tension.
Just take a few moments to feel beautiful grounding energy from the earth.
And now just take a nice beautiful deep cleansing breath in.
And release.
I'd like you now to visualize a serene place where you feel completely at peace and ease.
It could be a beach,
A forest,
A quiet meadow,
Or just any place that brings you calm and tranquility.
Imagine yourself in this place,
Surrounded by the sights,
Sounds and sensations that make you feel safe and peaceful.
Just spend a few moments here,
Allowing yourself to soak in the serenity and calm.
Just notice where you are.
Just feel completely calm and at peace here.
This is your special place of peace,
Calm and relaxation.
Fully immerse yourself.
Notice yourself feeling more and more calm and at peace.
And as you breathe,
Let this sense of peace fill your entire being,
Expanding from your heart outwards.
Enveloping you in a bubble of tranquility.
Feel the stillness and the quietitudes deep within you.
A place of profound peace that you can always return to,
No matter what is happening around you.
Allow this bubble of tranquility to warm you,
Relax you.
Enjoy it.
Feel relaxed.
And repeat to yourself,
I carry inner peace with me wherever I go.
I carry inner peace within me wherever I go.
I carry inner peace within me wherever I go.
Feel the truth of those affirmations resonating within you,
Reinforcing your sense of inner peace.
Now just take a nice beautiful deep breath in.
And release.
Now just begin to bring your awareness back to you.
And gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Roll your head and your shoulders.
And then when you feel ready,
Gently open your eyes to the room around you.
Just take a few deep breaths,
Feeling refreshed and calm.
Just take a moment to notice how you feel.
And remember you can take this sense of peace as you continue with your day and return to it whenever you need to.
All you need to do is close your eyes,
Focus on your breath and take yourself back to your serene,
Special place.
