This children's meditation is designed for 4 to 9-year-olds. It's a playful 5-minute guided visualization that teaches children to take slow, deep breaths while they blow up balloons of their favorite colors. It helps children connect with their breath, calm their nervous system, and access their innate joy. Practice every day for one week to maximize feelings of relaxation and contentment. Start by sitting comfortably.

Close your eyes.

Relax your body.

Now think of your favorite color.

Is it red?

Blue?

Yellow?

Picture a giant balloon of that color in your mind.

Now decorate your balloon with things you like.

Your favorite superhero.

A smiley face.

Glitter.

The face of your favorite athlete.

Whoa,

It looks super cool.

Oh no,

It looks like your balloon has lost all its air.

Let's fix it.

Breathe in through your nose.

Fill up your tummy with air to blow up your balloon.

Make it giant.

Now hold your breath.

One,

Two,

Three.

Pop the balloon and let all the air out and relax your whole body.

Let's do it again.

Think of another favorite color.

Picture in your mind a giant balloon in that color.

And now decorate the balloon again with things you like.

Oh no,

It looks like your balloon has lost all its air again.

Let's fix it.

Breathe in through your nose.

Fill up your tummy with air to blow up your balloon.

Make it even bigger than last time.

And now hold your breath.

One,

Two,

Three.

Pop the balloon and let all the air out and relax your whole body.

Let's do it one last time.

Picture a giant balloon of another color in your mind.

Decorate your balloon.

Does it have a funny hat?

Sunglasses?

Whoa,

This one looks cool too.

Oh no,

It looks like your balloon has lost its air again.

Let's fix it.

Breathe in through your nose.

Fill up your tummy with air to blow up your balloon.

And now hold your breath.

One,

Two,

Three.

Pop the balloon and let all the air out and relax your whole body.

Let all your balloons fly into the sky.

Let them reach the clouds.

And now take a big stretch with your arms and get ready for an awesome day.

Your meditations are so unique and moving . Sofia I attended your live the night before last . It was my very first experience with you . That night I went to sleep and had the most vivid dreams about what I had envisioned in the visualization. I had envisioned walkning on the beach with a partner . Someone I loved . Well in my dream I was with the most amazing man . I’m was wearing a beautiful pink dress . I was meeting his family . I was so happy . I rarely remember my dreams . This was such an amazing experience. It made me realize that your sessions are so powerful. I look forward to attending more f your AMAZING sessions ! Thank you for sharing your gift with me and with the world ! Obrigada πŸ™πŸ½πŸ’œπŸ¦‹
