I'm Lacey Young and this is a meditation to use in the morning to create your day.
So you can begin either lying down in bed before you ever get out of bed in the morning or sitting up after you have gone to the bathroom,
Practice your RPM,
Rise,
Pea,
Meditate,
And we'll begin.
Close your eyes.
If you're seated,
Sit up straight,
Growing in length from the base of your spine through the top of your head.
And if you're lying down,
Feel the mattress beneath you and just sink deeply into comfort.
And in either scenario,
Relax your body completely.
Begin to notice if there's any part of you that is holding on or clenching and invite it to release.
Take a few slow,
Deep breaths in and out,
Saying to yourself on each exhale,
Relax.
Relax.
And now scanning your body from head to toe,
Noticing your head,
Your neck,
Your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your chest,
Your torso,
Your legs and feet.
And as you take long breaths in and out through your nose,
Filling the space of your body with breath,
Allowing each breath in to be a carrier of pure,
Unconditional love.
You have the power every day to create your day.
And if you believe that you can create your day,
You'd never miss a day.
That's straight from the work of Dr.
Joe Dispenza and a belief that has supported my life richly and I believe can support your life as well.
So know the power of creation and show up every morning to create your day.
Picture yourself now,
Getting up in your mind's eye.
You're getting up,
You're getting ready for the day.
Who do you want to be today?
What do you want to feel in your body?
And how do you want to see that manifested into your life?
Set an intention for your day.
Maybe your intention is quite simple,
To be mindful of your breath and to celebrate each breath as pure,
Unconditional love.
And now in your vision,
See yourself sitting down to breakfast.
What foods will you give your body?
How will you nourish this precious vessel that you live in?
Remember that you're not your body,
It's something that you have.
And so you have the opportunity to protect and care for it,
Treasure it,
Treat it as if it matters because it does.
And so in your vision,
You've eaten your nourishing breakfast.
And what happens next?
Do you leave home to go to work?
Do you stay home to work?
Do you care for children,
Yours or someone else's?
Maybe you care for animals.
How does the work of your day begin?
See yourself lovingly engaged in those tasks as if they were sacred rituals,
As if you were busy about the business of what brings you joy.
Notice how your body responds to that notion.
Does it clench and tighten at the thought,
How could work be sacred?
Or do you sink into it with a resonant feeling of,
Yeah,
That feels good.
And so see yourself moving through the day and lunch comes.
Again,
How will you choose to power your body?
Will you eat foods that are alive,
Foods that are full of vital life force energy?
Or will you eat foods that are dead,
That are fake and processed,
That come in a box?
See yourself making the decision that feels lightest in your body.
Experience your food before you.
Take it in,
Bless it to the highest good of your being.
Invite your body to digest and use all of the energy.
And then you go back about the business of work.
Maybe you lay down for a little nap after lunch on your left side to digest,
To assimilate.
Or you take a walk and then you move back into the work of the day,
Feeling renewed and energetic,
Noticing that as the clock comes around 2 and 3 o'clock in the afternoon,
You're rejuvenated,
Surprised even at the sustained level of energy you've had all day.
And then you begin to wrap up your work,
Feeling accomplished,
Feeling grateful for the creative vitality that has been buzzing through you all day.
And coming home,
What are you wearing now?
How are you feeling now in your day?
And maybe you make yourself a cup of tea,
You sit down to do some writing,
Scan through the social networks.
What are you doing in your routine?
And does that feel like something that's supportive for you?
Remembering always that if it doesn't feel good,
You can stop doing it.
If being online too long is starting to tax you,
Give yourself permission to unplug.
And unplug fully for as long as you need.
This is how we create.
Moving mindfully and thoughtfully through the day,
Making changes anytime it's necessary,
And stopping to celebrate the things that are feeling really good.
And so it's evening now in your vision.
How are you feeling?
What are you doing?
As you reflect back on the day,
How did you manage stress that arised?
How did you move through your thoughts?
Did you see any old beliefs pop up that challenged you?
And did you remind yourself to change them when the moment called?
And so at dinner now,
Your third opportunity to put foods that are alive,
Nourishing,
Loving into your beautiful body.
What will you invite in?
Feel it digesting in your body now.
Remembering that digestion isn't painful.
It's a natural process.
And when you're eating foods that are aligned for your body,
Digestion happens with ease.
And so you begin to wind down in your vision now,
Getting ready for sleep.
Maybe you shower or take a bath.
Maybe you take another walk.
Maybe you sit with a book or a cup of tea.
How will you spend your evening?
And then see yourself slipping into bed.
Another day of your precious life coming to a close.
Another end that's really a beginning.
And in your vision,
Picture yourself sinking into the mattress and smile.
From head to toe,
From the inside of your body to the outside.
Smile with the recognition that you created this day.
And that you know the truth that anything you can create in your mind,
You can experience in your life.
Using that powerful information for your highest good every day.
And so now laying there smiling from inside to outside,
What do you know now from having created this day?
And as you take a deep breath in and a long,
Slow breath out,
Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes and come back into the physical space you're in,
Ready to live the day you've created.
Ready to fully embrace the infinite potential that is you.
Take another long breath in and with your exhale,
You can open your eyes and come back into the space of the room that you're in.
Move forward from this place mindfully.
Take time throughout your day to revisit your intention,
Set a new one,
To breathe and to be present enough that you remember when you've forgotten and you can begin again.
Life is one big experiment.
And you can forget,
Remember,
And begin again as many times as you need.
Take one final breath in and with your exhale,
Smile and move into your day knowing that you are effortless ease.
Joy is your birthright and all is unfolding for your highest good.
