This is a guided meditation to realign your root chakra.

Your root chakra or Mooladhara chakra in Sanskrit is located at the base of your spine and is linked to the security and survival of the body,

Your basic needs.

This chakras element is Earth.

To prepare for this meditation,

Find a comfortable seat and bring your awareness to your root chakra.

Take a deep inhale through your nose and exhale out your mouth.

And again inhale by nose and as you exhale by mouth,

Notice your sit bones sink into the Earth.

Inhale by nose.

Exhale by mouth.

Soften your shoulders,

Jaw,

Belly and hips.

Visualise a white beam of light travel up your spine,

Illuminating your entire spine.

With every breath,

The light becomes brighter and brighter.

Maintain your awareness on your root chakra and visualise the colour red.

Take a deep inhale and mentally state I am.

Exhale safe.

Inhale I am.

Exhale safe.

Inhale I am.

Exhale safe.

With every exhale,

Notice your connection to the Earth and as you do,

Heighten your sense of grounding.

You are safe.

You are grounded.

You are secure.

When the root chakra is off balance,

You may feel low on energy,

Easily angered,

Overly fearful or materialistic.

When it's in balance,

You may feel confident,

Secure,

Stable,

Full of energy and vitality.

Notice how you feel in this moment.

You are safe.

You are safe.

Inhale I am.

Exhale safe.

Inhale I am.

Exhale safe.

Inhale I am.

Exhale safe.

Slowly,

Slowly bring your awareness back to your breath.

Slowly start to deepen your breath.

Whenever you are ready,

Gently blink your eyes open and bring yourself back.

You are safe.
