This is a Yoga Nidra practice that will take you on a journey to a sacred luminous rainbow and bathe in its light.

Get ready for your practice of Yoga Nidra.

This is your time to rest,

Connect,

Discover or take away whatever you'd like to take from this practice.

You can prepare by lying on your back in Shavasana or maybe lying on your side or sitting up supported.

Whatever is best for you today,

Give yourself full permission to do that.

Get as comfortable as possible so you can feel fully supported and free to release tension.

Feel your body ease into the support beneath you,

Body fully supported,

Effortlessly releasing into a state of peace.

Shift into a state of non-doing.

Feel your body sigh at this opportunity to do nothing.

Notice the sensation of your body letting go of tension in your shoulders,

Letting go of tension in your arms,

Your back,

Your legs,

Your face,

Body completely letting go of tension.

Feel the stillness of your body.

You can move at any time you need,

But if you don't need to,

Dive into the peace of the stillness.

Your body rests whilst your awareness moves and explores,

Awake,

Aware,

Effortless.

Yoga Nidra has now begun.

Now if you'd like to make a sankalpa,

A heartfelt resolve,

Allow it to arise in your awareness.

If you don't have a sankalpa,

Simply allow an I am statement that fills you with joy to arise.

For example,

I am calm,

I am healthy,

Or I am free.

Whatever stirs your heart.

No need for thinking,

Just feeling.

Finish the statement.

I am.

Energetically feel your sankalpa manifested.

And when you are ready,

Repeat your sankalpa mentally three times with absolute certainty and feeling.

Now moving your awareness within your body,

Experiencing energetically rather than physically.

As I mentioned,

Parts of your body.

Shift your awareness there.

Allow your attention to move freely from one point to the next.

No need to concentrate.

Simply moving awareness.

If sensations or experiences arise,

Simply take notice and move on.

Begin with effortless awareness of the point between your eyebrows.
