You are a Human Being, not a Human Doing. Let's just sit and be. Be with breath. Nothing to change, no meaning to assign. Spend 4 minutes with me, just focusing on what is. It truly is a blessing to just breathe.

Hey there.

Need a minute?

Let's just sit together.

Notice your body's position on whatever surface you're on.

Notice how the surface beneath you receives your weight.

And feel free to keep your eyes open or closed through this brief practice.

Notice your breath.

Don't feel obligated to do anything with it.

But can you simply observe how you're breathing naturally and without effort?

Maybe you notice the pacing of your breath.

Maybe you notice how smooth it is or if there are catches or pauses anywhere.

No need to attribute any meaning or try to fix.

Just notice.

You might become aware of where in your body the breath is landing.

Do you feel your collarbone shifting up and down?

Your side ribs expanding and contracting?

Maybe your belly is moving or you can feel your upper back pressing into the surface behind you and then relaxing away.

All you have to do is breathe.

Just watch.

No controlling.

No changing.

Nowhere else to be but here.

Be with your breath.

Fully.

For another few moments.

And remember that your breath is always here as a friend,

As an anchor to the present moment whenever you need it.

Continue to sit here,

Simply breathing for as long as you need.

Namaste.
