If you've been feeling overwhelmed with life,
Stressed out,
Anxious about the future,
Depressed about the past,
Feeling lonely,
Tired,
Restless,
Out of control,
Confused,
Insecure,
Negative,
Or perhaps even joyous.
Whatsoever you feel reminding you that it's a-okay,
That you're not alone,
Not on an island,
But deeply intertwined,
Interconnected to the human experience.
We're coming back to trust and the unfolding of life.
The past is history,
The future is a mystery,
And the present is a gift,
Which is why we call it the present.
That being said,
My friend,
Getting comfortable,
Becoming aware of your posture,
Aware of how you're sat,
And close the eyes,
Tuning deeper inside,
Witnessing your mind and welcoming the thoughts.
Dropping the shoulders away from the ears,
Relaxing the belly,
Relaxing the face as you breathe in.
Every cell in the body breathing in,
And every cell breathing out,
Letting go of stress as you breathe in trust,
And exhale letting go of self-doubt.
And exhale letting go of insecurities,
Faith in the challenges that we face,
Faith that we can overcome.
Breathing in love,
Breathing in compassion,
And exhaling compassion for others.
Breathing in forgiveness for yourself,
And exhaling forgiveness for others.
Bringing all the attention inwards,
Witnessing and welcoming yourself,
Body,
Your emotion,
And any sensation.
Embracing it all like an old friend.
Taking a deep breath in,
Holding the breath at the top,
And exhale let go.
Breathing in through the nose,
Hold,
Breathing into the belly,
And exhale relaxing the belly.
Taking a deep breath in,
Breathing in through the mouth,
And very slowly exhale let go.
Shh Listening to the sound of the bell following the sound all the way to its end.
Taking a deep breath in,
And a deep breath out.
Way to stay with it my friend.

Patience is not the easiest thing to cultivate,
But we can cultivate patience by practicing being with people who challenge us without losing our composure,
Without getting caught in judgment,
Just appreciating people as they are.
Appreciating ourself as we are to have patience with ourself.
Not trying to be perfect,
But present,
Aware,
Compassionate.
Taking a deep breath in,
And a deep breath out.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Breathing in,
Every cell in the body.
Breathing in,
In every cell in the body.
Exhale,
Letting go.
