Hi Resilient Sunshine!
Thank you so much for joining me today for a new gratitude practice.
I will invite you right now to settle in a comfortable position and find yourself in the most comfortable position possible right now.
Whether you're sitting or laying down,
Just something comfortable for you to be able to settle yourself in and take a deep breath in from the tummy to the breast and a deep breath out.
And a deep breath in and a deep breath out.
One more breath in and a deep breath out.
This is just to get us just the right amount of comfortable for this gratitude practice.
A quick one either as you wake up and start your day or something easy to do in between meetings.
But we just want to take a few minutes here to be grateful for this day.
And on this day I get to think of three very very very very specific things that you are grateful for.
It can be some things that you get to do,
Some things that you get to experience today.
It can also be someone that you get to meet,
You get to spend time with,
Maybe someone you get to help today or who might help you.
And be very very specific.
What exactly are you grateful for?
Am I grateful for being able to just blast the music on today and dance half naked in the middle of my living room?
Am I grateful just to be able to sit comfortably and get some time to myself for five minutes?
Am I grateful for the smile of this stranger I crossed in the street earlier?
Am I grateful for the opportunity to go out there and smile at strangers in the street?
Ask yourself very very specifically what exactly are you grateful for today?
What are you grateful to be able to share today?
What is something something that you are so grateful for?
Is it the movements that you're able to invite in your body?
Is it the stillness?
Take some time to breathe through this gratitude flowing.
Breathing in and breathing out.
We just want to circulate this gratitude all throughout our bodies.
That's right.
Let it flow.
I'm grateful.
I'm so thankful.
I am so thankful for this new day.
For the light that allows us to see.
For this time that we're carving to take a break.
To recognize and notice all these details about life that we tend to take for granted.
All these details that are actually making it everything for us.
The opportunity to live one more day.
The opportunity to thrive.
The opportunity to just be unapologetically.
Just be right where you are.
Without the need to perform.
Without the need to exceed.
Just be.
Be grateful.
Be you.
Let's put a smile on our faces.
Take a last final deep breath in and out before starting to invite movement in our body again.
You can open your eyes if you have them closed.
Thank you for joining this gratitude practice today.
Enjoy the rest of your day with love and resilience.
