This gratitude practice is one to recognise and give credit to the small things we might tend to take for granted in our day to day. As the day rushed past us and we hop off the hamster wheel for a few minutes, we celebrate these little things, for making our day, for supporting our life, and give back gratitude to them.

Hi Resilient Sunshine!

Thank you so much for joining me this evening for this gratitude practice and as we are closing this day,

No matter how the day went with its challenges and with its positive things,

We are going to take some time right now to re-center and cleanse this energy from the day,

Shake it off a little bit and take some time to be grateful.

So I invite you to set yourself up comfortably in whatever position that feels the most giving to you in this moment and I invite you to take a deep breath in and sigh it out.

Another deep breath in and sigh it out.

Another deep breath in for four seconds.

One,

Two,

Three,

And four and sigh it out.

I want you to roll your shoulders a little bit just to make sure they're present.

Roll your right shoulder or just move it a little and do the same with your left one.

You can get a little bit,

You can alternate if you'd like.

I essentially just want you to move with frigidity right,

Just just feel your shoulders with gentle movement as tiny as you can do or as large as you feel called to do and in this movement,

While still moving,

I invite you to take a final deep breath in and as you exhale,

I want you to remain completely still,

As still as possible.

Ready?

Two,

Three,

And deep breath in.

That's right and we exhale in stillness.

Just remain here as still as you can be.

No more shaking the shoulders.

Anything that remains dense in our body is kind of settling down a little bit in the stillness.

And that's pretty much what's happening with our day.

As we start our day,

We kind of hop on the hamster wheel and things sometimes can get out of hand so much that we're not even certain that we feel every single present moment that we are gifted and that's okay.

Life happens and sometimes parts of it happen to us as opposed to with us and it's okay.

We accept that and I'd like to invite you to find something throughout this day that you are grateful for.

Something as little as it might seem to be.

Something that you are grateful for.

Something that made your day or just perhaps thinking back about a little detail that you hadn't quite taken the time to notice fully in the rush of the day.

Perhaps it's the gentle thank you that someone has offered.

Perhaps it's someone's help or perhaps it's something,

Something that happened to you or something that happened because of you.

Just take the time to reflect on that thing like as small as it might be.

Maybe it can be somewhere.

It can be a news that you received.

Just take the time to appreciate it.

Appreciate everything it has brought to you on this day.

And be something to do with your health as simple as being able to breathe today.

All you want to do is welcome this moment of stillness and gratitude and appreciate it fully.

And just like that,

As simple as it may seem,

We give back to this day.

With the gratitude we cultivate in our hearts for the simplest things that life can offer to us.

We give back thanks.

We give back harmony.

We give an opportunity to ourselves to really be part of this life.

So whenever you feel ready,

You can open your eyes again.

Look around you.

Still full of gratitude for what today has brought to you and with all the love and resilience.

Until next time.
