Welcome,

Welcome to this place where you can find connection with yourself.

In the face of day-to-day stress and the pressure to perform,

Find yourself in the most comfortable position that allows you to just be.

Laying down,

Sitting or even standing if that's what feels right,

Find whatever is your own way to comfort.

You can close your eyes if you feel called to do so already or maintain a soft gaze ahead of you.

There's absolutely no pressure.

No pressure to capture your thoughts in a certain way,

No pressure to focus on your body,

Just a tiny moment where you can notice your entire self just be.

We often wonder what being can feel like or look like,

So just acknowledge where you are,

How your body is positioned,

How it feels,

How is the bed or the chair or the soil that is supporting you,

How is that feeling,

What is that space of gentle support like.

Just having that opportunity to be wherever you are,

With your feet on the ground or not and have your sit bone on that chair or cushion or feeling your bed or mat under your back,

Just that point of contact and support,

How it feels like.

And in that moment,

If you can bring your left hand over your heart purposefully,

Cup that space with intention,

Feel the weight of your own desire to hold yourself and add your right hand over your left.

That's right,

You can hold yourself there for a second and even rub that space if it feels giving to you.

If you feel like even tilting a little bit side to side,

Adding a little gentle movement there,

Just be in presence of yourself in that moment.

And as you're holding your heart or focusing on your heart space,

Ask yourself,

What do I want?

What do I truly need in this moment right there?

What would truly feel nourishing to me today?

Give yourself some time to connect with what your heart is giving you in this moment.

No need to fight back or even overthink it,

Just take whatever comes up as it is.

Try to just accept it.

Accept that part of yourself that is being revealed just now and just stay with it.

Stay with it right there.

Notice how it makes you feel.

Notice how it makes your heart more full.

Stay with that for a moment more and take a deep breath in and out at your own rhythm.

You can take a couple more deep breaths in and out in your own time to release whatever tightness might be or remain with us at that moment.

Just a final deep breath in and a deep breath out.

And before you set off to get back to your day,

Give your hands a final squeeze over your chest,

Just gently,

A gentle one.

Release them on your side if they aren't there already.

And gently open your eyes and look around you,

Look around the room with the intention of living with presence.

Thank you for showing up in this moment with me.

With love and resilience.
