My name is Alejandro and welcome to this bedtime guided meditation.
Rumi once said,
Gratefulness brings you to the place where the beloved lives.
So tonight,
As we lay ourselves to rest,
May we be brought to that place,
A place of love,
A place of peace,
A place of never ending joy,
A place of absolute rest,
A place of wholeness,
Finding that comfortable resting place.
Whatever that looks like,
Whatever that feels like for you.
I invite you to take a few breaths with me.
We will inhale through our nostrils for four counts and exhale through our mouth for six.
Inhale through your nose.
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Exhale through your mouth.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six.
Inhaling for one,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And exhaling for six,
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two.
One last time.
Inhaling,
Filling up your lungs and exhaling,
Releasing anything that doesn't serve you.
Now,
I invite you to breathe as you naturally do.
Still being aware of your breath,
Being aware of the very life source that lives in you and around you.
Now,
As you drift off to sleep,
Let us do so with a grateful heart.
I will now say a series of I am grateful affirmations,
And all you have to do is,
With gentle awareness,
Agree.
Tonight,
I am grateful for life.
Tonight,
I am grateful for peace.
Tonight,
I am grateful for love.
Tonight,
I am grateful for healing.
Tonight,
I am grateful for the lessons that each experience brings.
Tonight,
I am grateful for the wisdom within and in those around me.
Tonight,
I am grateful for my wonderful body and all it allows me to do.
Tonight,
I am grateful for every blessing,
No matter how big or how small.
I am grateful that I see abundance in me and all around me.
Tonight,
I am grateful for all the love in my life,
Given and received.
Tonight,
I am grateful for my strength and resilience.
Tonight,
I am grateful for my unique creativity.
Tonight,
I am grateful for my capacity to bless others.
Tonight,
I am grateful that I have the power to make my dreams come true.
Tonight,
I am grateful for the ability to learn,
Develop,
And grow.
Tonight,
I am grateful for wholeness.

I am grateful for my story.

I am grateful for my journey.
