This meditation was created to be utilized during a layover between flights, but could also be used as a walking meditation in any setting that feels right for you. As you begin to walk, you are guided through a quick assessment of your body and emotional state. Thank you for choosing to travel mindfully with us today.

This meditation is intended to be used while you have a layover in the airport,

If you want to kill time before your next flight.

So I invite you to begin walking at a pace that feels comfortable for you,

And while placing your awareness into this present moment,

And become aware of your feet and notice how they feel each time you step forward.

What does your foot feel like in your shoe?

How does it feel to walk?

How does your body feel while walking?

Notice the sensations in your body without judgment.

Are you carrying tension anywhere particular in your body?

And how are you feeling in this moment emotionally or mentally?

Bring your awareness back into your body as you become aware of your breath.

As you continue walking at a comfortable pace,

Allowing the sounds around you to make you more relaxed,

Witnessing people that are around you without judgment,

And you become aware of your most empowered self walking a few paces in front of you,

Your most confident self.

Notice how they're carrying their body.

Notice what they're wearing.

Notice the energy they're exuding as they walk in front of you.

What do you admire about them?

And then they begin to slow down,

And they want to walk beside you,

And now you're walking with your most empowered self,

Stride for stride,

As an equal.

Do they have any wisdom or insight for you today?

What does it feel like to walk beside them?

To feel their energy of confidence,

Well-being,

Vitality,

Clarity.

And then they merge into you,

And you're walking as one.

You are walking as your most empowered self.

What does this feel like?

Can you sense how your energy shifted?

What are you noticing now as you're walking within you or around you?

What are you walking towards in your life?

Can you continue to walk in this expanded state?

Walking for a better future for yourself.

Walking for a future you are worthy of.

Because your time is now,

It is time for you to shine.

Because you are your most empowered self.

It has always been within you.

And you can call upon this self at any moment as a reminder of who you really are.

And you can continue walking in this state of awareness for as long as you would like.
