Thank you for choosing to travel mindfully with us today.

This meditation is intended to be used on your drive home,

From work,

Or after a stressful or long day.

We hope this meditation will help you decompress and let go.

So I invite you to bring all your awareness into the present moment,

While remaining alert and focused on the road at all times.

If at any point you become too relaxed,

Please save this for another time.

So begin to lengthen your breath,

Increasing your inhale and exhale,

Allowing the breath to become long and deep.

Notice the seat that's supporting you and your body positioning,

And try and let go a little bit more with each exhale.

Breathing a little bit more into the seat,

And take inventory of how you are feeling emotionally and physically in this moment.

Are you carrying the stress and anxiety from your day?

There's no need for judgment.

Just analyzing and surveying.

Bring your awareness to your head,

And relax the place between your eyebrows,

Allowing your jaw to relax,

And relax your tongue all the way down to the root,

Allowing it to fill your mouth,

And bring a smile to your lips,

Move down to your neck.

Are you carrying the tension here?

See if you can let the tension go with each exhale.

Breathing into your neck,

And moving down into the shoulders,

Continuing to let go with each exhale.

Notice how your arms feel,

And the position of your hands.

Are they tense or relaxed?

Can you notice the sensation in your palms?

Continue to stay focused and alert on the road,

And drop into your heart space,

Feeling your heart with a sense of gratitude for yourself today,

For showing up and being present.

And now for taking this time to relax and decompress,

Moving down to the abdomen.

See if you can relax your abdomen with your inhale,

Allowing it to become soft,

And letting go of the tension.

Dropping down into the pelvis,

Relaxing more into the seat beneath you,

Allowing yourself to feel supported.

Notice the position of your legs and feet.

Can you notice any sensation in the soles of your feet?

And now bring your awareness to your entire body,

While remaining focused on the road.

Notice if your body feels more relaxed and at ease.

Pick a landmark on the horizon that you're going to pass.

Did you have any anger or frustration today?

Did you experience any stressful or high anxiety situations?

And when you get to this landmark up ahead,

Notice all of these heavy sensations leaving your body.

Let them go,

Because you don't need to carry them into the rest of your day.

So as you pass this landmark,

Feel all of these emotions and sensations leaving your body,

Allowing yourself to let go,

To empty of them.

How do you want to feel the rest of your day?

Do you want to feel at peace or lighter?

Do you want to feel happier or more full of gratitude and love?

How do you want to show up when you arrive at home?

What type of person do you want to be when you arrive at home?

How can you cultivate more of this feeling in your life?

And bring your awareness back to your breath,

Noticing how easy it comes and goes.

Remember you too can let go as easy as the breath comes and goes.

Thank you for choosing to travel mindfully with us today.

A really great one! “How do you want to show up when you arrive home” This is what I need to listen to everyday on my way home from work and picking up the kids. Thank you 🙏
