Sometimes you feel tired but not just tired in your body.
Sometimes we feel a kind of tiredness that sleep simply won't fix.
It's the exhaustion that comes from holding everything together day after day for far too long for far too many people.
Do you know that feeling when you walk into a room and immediately sense that something is off even before anyone says a word?
Maybe you're the one who always checks in with others,
The one who notices a certain tension lingering in the air,
The one who steps in and fixes things when they are falling apart,
Even when you feel like you are falling apart yourself.
Sometimes we take on things we never agreed to carry.
Guilt that isn't ours,
Fears that belonged to someone else.
The need to be strong because there was no one else who would.
And we don't do it to be heroes.
We do it because we had no other choice.
Because we learned that love means you are not allowed to fall apart.
That safety means keep the peace at all costs.
We continue like this until all of it gets too heavy someday.
And then you wonder why you wake up exhausted.
Why your body aches even on good days.
Why your heart feels full and empty at the same time.
Too much holding,
Too much silence,
Too many unspoken actually I'm not fines.
I know what it's like to be the one who's always checking in,
Always holding things together.
Maybe you do too.
But what if,
Just for a moment,
You were allowed to put some of it down.
Not everything.
Just one small thing.
One sentence you stop saying.
One expectation you stop living up to.
One person you stop saving.
You are not a bad person for wanting your own life back.
You are not selfish for needing space.
You are not cold for saying this is not mine.
Breathe.
You are still you.
Even if you stop being everything to everyone.
And maybe now you can feel just a little bit of space inside you.
A little more breath.
A little more ease.
Maybe you don't need to carry it all anymore.
And maybe you never had to in the first place.
You are allowed to live lighter,
To choose what stays with you and also what you gently put down.
You can still love,
Still care,
Still be kind and still belong to yourself.
Say this if it feels right.
I can let go of what is not mine.
Breathe.
And remember,
Not everything that's heavy is yours to carry.
Not anymore.
