Welcome to today's meditation.
We are now going to focus on our breath.
Please close your eyes when you are ready and make sure that you're in a comfortable position.
Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth during this meditation.
In today's meditation,
We are going to focus on gratitude.
Gratitude is a mindful practice of acknowledging the good around us and the good that we experience day to day.
When we practice gratitude,
It helps us to become more conscious and it creates a deeper level of awareness.
Just bring your attention to your breath,
Noticing the rhythm of how it feels to become aware of where the in-breath meets the out-breath.
Many of us grew up in an environment that focused on lack,
Scarcity and what we didn't have.
When we express gratitude,
It does not mean that we feel positive at all times.
It is a practice that allows us to acknowledge the polarity of our emotions.
Sadness and joy,
Anger and acceptance,
Lack and abundance,
Anxiety and calm,
Happiness and grief.
We don't have to wait until we have more money,
A better job or a happier relationship to feel grateful.
We can focus on the other things in our life that we feel gratitude for.
In this present moment,
Breathe in slowly and deeply through your nose.
Exhale slowly and deeply through your mouth.
Can you think of someone or something in your life that you feel grateful for?
Lean into this feeling and allow your mind and body to experience all of this gratitude.
When we feel grateful for what we do have,
We raise our vibration to align with the emotional state that we want to experience.
When we feel better,
We attract our desires into our lives.
Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth for another few rounds of breath.
You can continue to meditate in your own time or you can bring your attention back to your body.
And when you are ready,
Please open your eyes and come back into the room.
