Gratitude is a mindful practice of acknowledging the good around us and the good that we experience day to day. Practicing gratitude helps us to become more conscious and it creates a deeper level of awareness. Many of us grew up in an environment that focused on lack, scarcity and what we didn’t have. Practicing gratitude does not mean that we feel positive at all times; it is a practice that allows us to acknowledge the polarity of our emotions-sadness/joy, anger/ acceptance, lack/abundance.
