If you struggle to place your needs first, have a hard time saying No, are constantly overwhelmed by all your professional and personal obligations only to be completely frustrated at the end of the day, this is for you. Self-love and compassion for ourself comes from a knowing deep within that we are worthy of our own time & effort. However, for those of us who struggle with this, it comes from a deep-rooted childhood conditioning which says - You're not enough, Your needs don't matter, You don't matter. These are all at the subconscious level - hidden from our very own eyes. Through this guided meditation I intend for you to delve into your childhood and undo this conditioning which is running the show for you well into your adult years.

Welcome,

My name is Parul and I will be guiding you through a meditation which will help you connect with your inner child.

But before we begin,

Let's ground ourselves in this present moment.

Settle into a comfortable seated position.

You can keep a cushion behind your back for extra support.

Now gently close your eyes.

Allow your body to be relaxed without slouching your back.

Relax your mind while still being alert and present.

Relax your forehead.

Relax your temples.

Relax your jaw.

Relax your shoulders.

Move your head from side to side so that you can loosen up.

Move your head from side to side to loosen up a little.

Now let's take three deep breaths.

Inhale slowly from your stomach and exhale.

Once again,

And this time,

Try to make the breath deeper and longer.

Exhale to the count of five,

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Hold for one and breathe out any stress and tension that you're holding in your body.

One last slow and deep breath from the belly.

Inhale five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Hold.

Exhale slowly,

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Notice if you feel more relaxed and present in this moment.

One more time,

Breathe in,

And this time,

Breathe in white divine light.

As you breathe out,

Send that light through your entire body.

Now we are going to take a journey together to meet your inner child.

Allow your awareness to float up through your crown chakra out of the top of your head.

Float up through the sky,

Through space,

Galaxies,

And stars.

And float down into the past.

You've landed at the door of your childhood home.

Take a look at the house.

How does it make you feel?

Look at the front door.

It's the same as what it looked like when you were a kid.

Go ahead and open the door.

Is it wood,

Metal,

Or something else?

How does it feel?

Is it cold or warm to touch?

Go inside.

What do you see?

Are there any people?

Are there any familiar smells as you step in?

Is there something cooking in the kitchen?

The place looks exactly as it did in your childhood.

Nothing has changed.

Your inner child is waiting to meet you.

Notice the sensation of love as it runs through your body in this very moment.

No matter what energy it held for you earlier,

At this moment,

This house is filled with divine love pulsating through every inch of it.

Your home has so much love for you.

It's so happy you're back here.

Now go ahead and walk towards your childhood room.

Whenever you're ready,

Open the door and enter the room.

Look around.

How does it make you feel?

The same bed,

The same walls.

Move towards the bed and notice sitting on the childhood bed is you as a little child.

Go ahead and sit next to your childhood self.

Look into your eyes.

The eyes of your young child self.

How old are you?

Two,

Three or five?

Go ahead and hug them gently.

Allow them to feel the love you have for them.

Allow them to feel safe in your embrace.

Allow your bodies to melt together in that moment.

You are one,

The same.

Look into the eyes of your inner child and ask them,

What is it that they need?

What pain are they experiencing right now?

Let them share it with you.

Be patient and listen with no judgment.

What love are they not receiving from their family and loved ones that they desperately crave?

Do they want to be seen?

Do they want to be heard?

What are they scared of?

Ask them.

This right here is the opportunity for you to give them all that love.

To let them know how amazing,

Beautiful,

Worthy and loved they truly are.

That they were born as divine love.

Look into their eyes once again as you reassure them that you are here for them,

Always by their side and tell them,

You are more than enough.

I am so proud of you.

There is nothing else you need to do or achieve or become to be enough.

Because you already are and always were.

I know some people make you feel otherwise at times.

But remember,

Your only truth is love.

You are so divinely loved in every moment of your life.

You are doing such an amazing job and I love you more than you can ever imagine.

Feel that love through your entire body.

Notice how your inner child is responding.

Are they crying or smiling or hugging you tightly?

They can feel that unconditional love from you right now for the first time.

Look them in their eyes and let them know that they are so strong,

So courageous,

So beautiful and part of the divine universe.

Tell them,

I love you.

I love you so very much.

You are enough.

You have always been enough exactly as you are right now.

You're perfect and it is safe for you to be yourself.

Ask them one more time,

Is there anything you'd like me to know?

How are you feeling?

How can I support you?

Now allow them to hold your hand and take you to a moment back in time in your childhood when you didn't feel good enough.

Step into that memory together at the count of three.

One,

Two,

Three and you're there.

Look around you.

Where are you?

What's happening around you?

In what way is your inner child feeling not good enough because of what is happening around them?

Now we get to change the meaning of this situation.

Allow your awareness to move inside the body of your inner child.

See this event through their eyes.

Feel their pain,

Their insecurity.

Now empower your inner child with your knowing.

You are enough.

You are strong.

You are so powerful.

You are love.

Everything that's happening around you right now has nothing to do with you and your worth.

It is time to change the meaning of this situation.

Let's take your power back.

Affirm your worthiness to yourself.

Remember,

Every situation is neutral.

You are giving this scenario the meaning which carries forward with you for the rest of your life.

You are giving this scenario the meaning which you'll be carrying with you for the rest of your life.

What meaning do you choose to give to this situation?

Is there something you wish you could have done differently?

Stood up for yourself.

Told the truth to someone.

Go ahead and do that now.

As you look at the people around you,

You'd notice that they've all transformed into their inner children.

They are all now showing up as their three to five year old self.

Each of these people who made you feel unworthy were acting from the pain of their inner children.

The way they made you feel was a reflection of the pain their inner child was experiencing that they didn't know how to deal with.

You are free to walk up to the inner child of the person who is central to this scenario.

Look into their eyes.

See the pain on their face.

Notice the pain they are experiencing.

The hurt,

The sadness,

The unworthiness,

The desire to be loved.

This is the pain that unconsciously forced them to lash out on you and hurt you.

If you're called to,

Can you embrace the inner child of this person?

Let them know that you see them and their pain.

They just want to be seen,

To be loved,

To be accepted.

Tell them that they're deeply loved and accepted.

That they are worthy just as they are.

If you feel called,

Let them know that you forgive them.

They didn't know what they were doing.

What do they need to hear or experience to feel truly loved so that they no longer create this kind of pain or unworthiness for others?

Ask them,

Be there for them.

Give them this love.

Notice how their inner child responds as they receive this love from you.

The aura around them starts to glow even more.

This person,

No matter where they are,

Is receiving this love.

Now take a step back and see how the scenario has changed.

It is no longer dark,

Negative,

Scary or dramatic.

It is simply a lesson.

It is an opportunity for growth.

It is an opportunity to love yourself unconditionally.

Allow the love you're feeling in your body to expand in the entire scenario.

Only love exists.

Everything else is an illusion created by suffering and fear.

Take a deep breath.

You're okay.

Your inner child and the inner child of all those around you feel safe to be themselves again.

Look into their eyes and reassure them once again.

What meaning do you choose to give this scenario now?

The people around you who made you feel not good enough were acting from their own pain.

It was simply a projection of their pain.

Is that pain of not being good enough your truth?

Feel the answer in your body.

No,

It's not.

It never was.

What is your truth?

Do you remember?

Can you feel it?

Affirm to yourself now.

I am more than enough.

I am divine love.

I am divine perfection.

I am open to receiving love from the universe.

I am the entire universe experiencing this world through the human body.

I am so proud of myself.

I'm strong,

Courageous,

Beautiful,

Divine.

I am enough.

I always have been and always will be.

I am choosing now to forgive myself entirely for ever doubting my own divine worthiness.

I'm choosing even when it is difficult to forgive those around me who are acting from their own pain.

I acknowledge that those around me who have made me feel not good enough for my entire life were there to show me a reflection of my own beliefs.

I take back my power now.

I now intend that the universe reflects back to me my newly remembered worthiness in all people,

Outcomes,

And scenarios in my life.

I am love.

Now take the hand of your inner child and take them on a journey to the present moment.

Step forward with your inner child into the now.

You may find yourself now in your current home.

Show your inner child around.

Show them this beautiful home you've created for yourself.

Show them the bed you sleep in,

The kitchen you cook in.

If you have roommates or family,

Introduce them.

Look at how amazed your inner child is.

This is more than they could have ever imagined.

You did this.

You created a safe space.

You created this loving home.

Introduce some of your most important and closest people to your inner child,

Whether it is your partner,

Best friend,

Your own child,

Or family members.

Allow that person to embrace your inner child.

Allow your inner child to experience the love from your dearest loved ones.

They are so proud of you and in awe with the love you have cultivated in your life.

Feel free to show them your place of work,

Your favorite places around the town.

Show off your life to them.

All the amazing things and people and places in your life.

Watch the amazement on your inner child's face.

The childlike excitement at everything they look at and experience in this moment.

The love,

The laughter,

The beauty,

All of it.

Feel the gratitude.

And when you're ready,

You'll find yourself back on your childhood bed with your inner child.

Embrace your inner child one more time.

Remember,

They are always here with you.

Let them know that you will never leave them alone.

Promise that you will always check on them.

Ask them if they want to come with you and stay with you.

Live your life with you.

If they say yes,

Take their hand and allow them to stay with you.

They are here with you right now.

Be with them.

Love them and allow them to express their love for you.

Now going forward,

For the rest of your life,

They will always be with you.

Spend as much time as you want to with them.

Speak to them,

Hug them and love them.

Promise to always listen to them and take care of their needs.

And now it's time to go back to your life.

Once again,

Come back to this present moment.

Come back into your adult body.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.
