Welcome to a woodwalk meditation.
Now find your comfortable position.
You can sit down on the chair,
On the sofa,
Your feet grounded,
You can find your cross-legged
position or you can lie down on your bed on the mat and relax your body,
Keep your spine
long,
Relax your shoulders,
Relax your face,
Close your eyes and then take a deep breath
into the nose and then let go through your mouth and again inhale into the nose,
Exhale
through your mouth,
Relax your body,
Feel the gravity of the earth and then gently close
your lips and let the air simply flow through the nose,
In and out.
Now imagine yourself standing at the edge of a beautiful forest,
The air filled with
the scent of pine and earth.
As you step onto the winding path feel the soft earth beneath your feet connecting you
to the energy of the forest,
Walking lightly through the forest,
Listen to the gentle rustle
of the leaves and the distant call of birds as you begin your journey and the sunlight
filters through the canopy casting a warm and gentle glow all around you.
Take a moment to feel the warmth of the sun on your skin and the soothing embrace of the
forest.
As you walk notice the vibrant colors of the wildflowers and the lush greenery all around
you.
Allow yourself to be fully present in this moment,
Absorbing the sights,
Sounds and smells
of the forest,
Take in the intricate details of the leaves,
The patterns of the bark on
the trees and the delicate dance of the butterflies flitting from flower to flower.
Feel a sense of peace and tranquility washing over you with each step you take.
As you continue along the path find a quiet spot to sit and take a moment to connect with
the natural world around you.
Maybe sit under the tree,
Peel back towards the tree and feel the energy of the forest
infusing you with a deep sense of calm and serenity.
As you sit in stillness take a few deep breaths and feel your connection to the earth and
the natural world around you and let go of any worries or stresses,
Allowing them to
be carried away by the gentle breeze that rustles through the treetops.
In this moment you are one with the forest,
Feeling a deep sense of harmony and inner
peace.
Take a few more moments to simply be,
Allowing the healing energy of the forest to fill your
spirit.
Now we take one more inhale,
Press your lips and suck it all in,
All the beautiful energy.
Pull it in and relax with the exhale.
And when you are ready slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment.
Carry this sense of connection and inner peace with you as you continue your journey through
the forest and back into your daily life.
Remember that you can always return to this place of tranquility within yourself whenever
you need to find a moment of calm.
From my heart to yours,
Namaste.
