This Winter Guided meditation will invite you to enjoy the stillness, to reflect on tranquillity of the season. It will allow you to take a moment to slow down. The same-like nature hibernates in the winter ,we should take time for our self care and calmness .

Welcome to our winter meditation.

Begin with finding a comfortable position and allow your body to relax and settle into stillness.

You can be sitting with your feet grounded,

Cross-legged position or lying on your mat or on your bed.

As we embrace the quiet and stillness that winter brings,

Let us take a moment to connect with ourselves and the season.

Close your eyes gently and begin to draw your attention inward.

Give yourself permission to relax and relax deeply.

Let's cultivate warmth,

Comfort and a sense of inner peace.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Allowing your abdomen to expand fully.

Hold for a moment and then exhale slowly through your mouth.

Let the air just escape and then seal your lips and continue to breathe through the nose.

Breathe in,

Feeling the air enter your lungs,

Slowly releasing all tension and stress.

Continue breathing,

Allowing your breath to settle in a gentle rhythm.

Bring your awareness to your body.

Start at the crown of your head.

Notice any sensations or feelings.

As you breathe in,

Imagine gathering warmth.

As you breathe out,

Let go of any tightness or discomfort.

Bring it towards your face,

Eyes,

Cheeks,

Down towards your throat and your neck,

Your shoulders and your arms.

Move towards your chest,

Your abdomen,

Your back,

All the way towards your toes.

Feel the weight of your body sinking into the surface beneath you,

Feeling completely supported.

Now,

Picture yourself sitting by a warm fire,

The glow enveloping you in the warmth.

Feel the gentle flickering of flames.

Notice the comforting sounds around you,

The crackling of the fire,

Soft music or gentle snow falling outside.

Allow yourself to fully immerse in this warm,

Safe space.

With each breath in,

You draw in the stillness of winter.

With each breath out,

Let go of any lingering thoughts,

Worries or distractions.

Winter is a time of rest,

Reflection and renewal.

Just as nature takes a break,

So can you.

Feel the connection to the earth beneath you.

Just as the earth is nurturing itself during this quiet time,

Take this moment to nurture yourself.

Engage self-compassion and acceptance of the stillness.

Allow yourself to grace,

To slow down and simply be.

Embrace the beauty and the simplicity of the season,

Knowing that just as spring will follow winter,

New beginnings await you too.

Now repeat to yourself these affirmations.

I am safe and secure.

I am safe and secure.

I embrace the beauty of winter.

I embrace the beauty of winter.

Nurture warmth and comfort within me.

Allow these affirmations to fill your heart,

Feeling the warmth radiating through your body.

Take a few breaths to savor this moment.

Carry the warmth of this experience with you as you move through the winter season.

And may you find a calmness and joy within.

I invite you to stay as long as you want.

If you wish to come back,

Gently bring some awareness to your fingers and toes.

Gentle wiggle.

And then deepen your next inhalation a bit more,

Bringing more energy into your body.

Slowly bring yourself back,

Maybe flick your eyes open.

You can bring the hands in front of your hearts and connect the palms together.

And gently bow towards your heart.

Thank yourself to take time to be present and nurture yourself.
