Welcome.

Tonight is a night of gentle restoration.

Simply feeling the bed beneath you.

Taking a slow breath in for a count of four,

And a slow breath out for a count of six.

Again,

In for four,

And out for six.

Imagine roots gently extending from your body down into the earth.

Steady,

Strong,

Quiet.

You are supported.

Bringing awareness slowly to your body.

The feet,

The calves,

The knees.

The thighs and hips.

The lower belly.

Allowing all to soften just a little bit more.

Chest and heart.

Shoulders.

Arms,

Hands,

Fingers.

Letting go of what you carried today.

Throat,

Jaw,

Tongue.

Eyes are heavy.

Forehead is smooth.

And if your mind brings up scans or results or appointments or what-ifs,

Gently respond,

Tomorrow is not here.

This is my time of rest.

Imagining a calm night sky above you.

Wide,

Spacious,

Steady.

Your thoughts are like small clouds drifting through that sky.

They pass.

Your body is working quietly in the background.

Repairing cells,

Balancing hormones,

Restoring energy.

You don't have to force sleep.

Just resting in the space between wake and dream.

Feeling a gentle appreciation for one small thing you did today.

Maybe it's an appreciation for just each breath.

Maybe your breath is what carried you through another day.

Let that be enough.

Allow yourself to drift into a deep,

Deep slumber.
