Welcome to this meditation.
That aims to help you to release and let go of what no longer serves you.
Please find a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down.
Allow your hands to rest easily.
And let your body settle.
If it feels okay to you,
You may gently close your eyes.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
And exhale softly through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale.
And exhale.
One more time.
Inhale.
And exhale.
Letting the day begin to loosen its grip,
Just a little.
You don't need to force yourself to relax.
Just allow yourself to arrive here.
Now imagine you're standing at the start of a quiet nature path.
The air feels fresh,
Calm,
And steady.
It might be a soft forest trail,
A country path,
Or somewhere that feels natural and peaceful to you.
Begin to walk slowly along this path.
Noticing the ground beneath your feet,
Steady and supportive.
Noticing the sounds around you.
Perhaps birds in the distance.
Leaves gently moving or a quiet rhythm of your own steps.
As you will,
You don't need to rush.
There's nowhere else you need to be.
Or anywhere you need to go.
With each step,
Imagine the stress of your day becoming more visible.
Not overwhelming,
But just noticeable.
Perhaps it appears as a weight you're carrying or a small object in your hands.
Or even a feeling in your body that you can now see more clearly.
There is no need to judge it.
Just notice what you've been holding.
You continue along the path knowing that up ahead there is a place where you can set these things down.
After a few moments.
.
.
You arrive at the deep.
All well.
It feels safe.
Grounded.
And still.
The stones around it is cool and solid.
And when you look inside.
You see clear,
Calm water far below.
This is a place where you can release what no longer serves you.
Take a moment to stand beside this well.
Feeling its steadiness?
And security.
Now gently bring to mind one thing from your day that feels heavy.
Or draining.
It doesn't have to be everything.
And imagine placing it into a small container.
Or simply holding it in your hands.
When you are ready,
Drop it into the well.
And watch it begin to fall.
Slowly and steadily.
Moving down through the quiet space.
You can follow it with your attention.
As it lowers further and further.
Becoming smaller.
And smaller.
Eventually it reaches the water below.
As it touches the surface,
Notice how it dissolves gently.
As if it's being absorbed and softened.
The water remains calm.
Capable of holding and transforming what you released.
Take a breath here.
If it feels right to you.
You can repeat this process.
One by one.
You can release other small pieces of tension,
Worries,
Conversations,
Pressure.
Expectations.
Each one placed into the well.
Each one.
Falling at its own pace.
Each one dissolving into the water below.
You don't have to empty everything.
Just what feels ready for you.
With each release.
Notice your body feels even slightly lighter.
Maybe your shoulders soften.
Maybe your breathing feels a little bit easier.
Even small shifts are enough.
When you're ready,
Step back from the well and know that you can return here at any time.
Turn back towards the path.
And begin to walk again slowly.
Notice how the pace around you feels now.
The same path,
But perhaps you're carrying a little less.
Take a few more gentle steps.
Feeling the ground beneath you.
Feeling the air around you.
Your body moving with a bit more ease.
Gently begin to bring your awareness back to where you are.
Notice your breath.
The surface beneath you.
And the room that is around you.
Take a deeper breath in.
And a slow breath out.
When you are ready,
You can gently open your eyes.
Take a moment before moving on.
There is no need to rush.
Just notice how you feel,
Even if the change is subtle.
You have given yourself a small space to release today.
And that's what matters.
Thank you for joining this meditation.
Sending you love and light.
Namaste.
