Start by coming into a comfortable position so that your body and your head is rested.
Take some nice,
Slow,
Deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.
As you inhale,
Really feeling that beautiful oxygen filling and expanding in the belly all the way up to the lungs,
To the chest,
Reaching up to the collarbone,
Holding the breath at the top,
And then release and let go.
So just taking a few breaths like this,
Inhaling,
Holding at the top,
And then releasing,
Just allowing the whole body to relax with every exhale,
Sinking deeper,
Letting go of any tightness in the body.
If you feel any tightness or aches in the body,
See if you can bring your awareness there and allow for deeper relaxation.
And I invite you to take your awareness to your third eye,
The space between your eyebrows.
Just keep your breath nice,
Slow,
And deep.
You can breathe through your nose or mouth,
Whatever feels most comfortable for you,
But keep the awareness at your third eye,
And just notice how there is nothing in the vicinity of your mind.
The mind feels like a vast,
Open space.
Just stay in this space of openness.
Relax into it.
Allow it.
This is a state of neutrality,
Of balance,
Of harmony,
Where nothing is needed,
Where all is well,
Where no problems exist.
And just take some time here to witness your own existence.
So really turn your attention inwards,
Into the one who is aware,
And just be here.
Any thoughts that arise,
You can allow them in,
You can watch them,
But then you can simply bring your awareness back to the third eye and back to your breath,
And just return inwards,
Into your true being.
Now this silence is where all creation is born.
It is where all wisdom is found.
It is where inspiration comes alive,
Because all that is not real has dissolved.
All of the thoughts,
The beliefs,
All of the incorrect knowledge is no longer there to distress your mind,
And instead you are living from a place of truth,
Of peace,
And harmony.
And the more that we can practice this,
It's the more that this state of being is our natural way of being.
So my advice to you would be to do this practice at least twice a day,
Even more if you can,
Just even in short moments in your day,
Just make that intention to come back to peace,
Come back to presence,
To turn inwards,
To the inner silence,
Without the need of any thoughts,
And just be still.
And then as you go out into the world,
You can come from a sense of openness and peace,
And ready for whatever comes,
Because you're connected to your true essence,
And you're living from a grounded foundation,
Not from the falsity of the mind.
So when you feel ready,
You could maybe get some gentle movement back to your body,
Or stretch,
And gently open the eyes,
And move on into your day or evening.
