This meditation is created with the intention of helping you to come out of inner turmoil and return to inner peace.

Come and settle,

Get comfortable and take a slow conscious breath.

Before we begin,

I invite you to set an intention for yourself,

Perhaps an intention to find inner peace amongst anything that you are currently going through.

Make your intention clear.

What else would you like to gain from this meditation?

Clarity of mind,

Expansiveness,

Self-awareness,

Your intentions are so powerful so be firm and clear here with what you wish to gain from this meditation.

Come back to your centre.

I have a question for you.

Can you let it all go?

Just even for this moment here.

Can you just be here without holding on to anything in your mind?

I invite you to take your awareness away from your thoughts and into your heart centre.

And as you breathe,

Just feel the breath expand and contract at your heart centre.

Stay here and feel the smoothness and slowness of your breath.

Maybe even feeling into the beat of your heart.

And now,

Just beginning to deepen the breath,

I'd like to start with an easy and soft breathing technique to help bring your whole nervous system into balance,

To tell your body,

Mind and spirit that you are safe here and all is well.

We're going to inhale for 4 seconds,

Hold for 4,

Exhale for 8 and hold for 8.

So we'll begin now.

Inhale 2,

Hold 2,

And carry this on for a couple of minutes until you feel ready to move on.

You can pause at any time.

Now,

Sitting here in the space where you currently are,

Take your attention,

Your awareness to your third eye.

Just see if you can sense that point just above the eyebrow centre.

Focus your awareness here.

Can you feel that spaciousness within you?

Stay here for a moment and bask into this everlasting,

Peaceful space.

You don't need to do or be anything here.

There is nothing to focus on.

You are free.

You are safe.

All is well.

You can stay here for as long as you like.

Pause here if you need to.

When you feel ready,

Take your awareness back to your breath.

No need to change the breath.

Just follow the slow,

Steady flowing stream.

Feel into the ever-giving breath that's always there with you in every moment of every day.

You don't need to do anything for there is an intelligence within you doing all of the work,

Breathing life into your body and renewing yourselves in every moment of every day.

Now,

I want to ask you a question.

Have you had any particular thoughts in this meditation?

Maybe the thoughts became less.

And where did those thoughts go that were keeping you in turmoil or stress or upset or anger?

They're simply not here anymore.

So,

In that case,

Would you agree that the inner turmoil is actually a creation within your mind?

Energy flows where your attention goes.

You have the complete control over how you feel.

Simply become aware and find stillness.

Take your focus away from the incessant thoughts.

You don't need to get so involved in them.

They're only thoughts.

Can you let it go and know that everything will work out as it's meant to?

All that's ever needed is to allow the universe to do its job,

Which is to let life flow in its own way with its own intelligence.

Just as your heart beats and yourselves renew in every moment without you needing to control any function,

Can you also let go of the need to control the external happenings?

Rather than becoming entangled and identified in the happenings,

Can you become the observer of it all?

When you observe from this space,

You are free.

I will leave you with that thought.

Wishing you blessings,

Love and peace.
