Good morning and welcome.
This morning will reflect on gratitude and through this will invite joy into your day.
So,
Take a deep breath in and slowly exhale.
Feel the ground beneath you,
Steady and supportive.
Allow yourself to arrive fully here.
Thank yourself for giving yourself the time for this today and allow yourself to take up the space that you need.
Close your eyes gently and soften your shoulders.
Place a hand over your heart.
Notice its rhythm.
Notice the warmth of your body beneath your palm.
With each inhale,
Imagine drawing in light.
And with each exhale,
Imagine that light spreading from your heart throughout your body.
Let your breath be natural,
Smooth and steady.
A flow of calm energy.
Beating gently and on and on throughout your body with every beat of your heart.
And now gently bring to mind three things you're grateful for today.
They may be large or small.
A loved one.
A moment of kindness.
The beauty of nature.
Maybe even the simple gift of being alive.
And as your mind rests on each one,
Pause.
Picture it clearly.
Feel it expand in your heart.
Notice how gratitude naturally creates joy.
It might bring a smile to your face or a sense of lightness.
Allow yourself to rest here in that feeling of joy.
Allow yourself to be nourished by the simplicity of gratitude.
I'm going to give you some affirmations and you can repeat them silently in your head or out loud.
Or you can simply let my voice carry the energy and let it settle in your mind.
I choose to notice and appreciate the blessings around me.
Joy flows naturally when I'm grateful.
Each moment holds something to be thankful for.
Let each phrase sink deeply into your heart,
Radiating joy outwards.
Take a final deep breath in,
Gathering gratitude,
And exhale slowly,
Releasing peace into your day.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes and step forward with that gratitude and joy filling your heart.
